Another update for me, with some thoughts.

lilty's Games Finished 2017

Pokémon Moon (January 9)

Crazy Taxi (January 11)

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune (January 16)

Shenmue II (January 17)

Resident Evil - Code: Veronica (January 23)

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (January 25)

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (February 24)

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (March 2)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (March 18)

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (March 27)

Fire Emblem Heroes (April 24)

OutRun 2 (May 9)

Persona 5 (May 11)

Let's start with OutRun 2. I've been a huge fan of the original OutRun for years but I never played 2. When the 3DS release of OutRun came out I got really obsessed with it and started looking into the series and found footage of OutRun 2 online. It looked like a ton of fun! Skip to a few weeks ago when I'm visiting Value Village and I find a copy for $4. Instant buy. The game is great and highly replayable like all great Sega games. Highly recommended.

Now Persona 5. If you know anything about me it's probably that I'm obsessed with Persona. Waiting for this game felt like an eternity and I hyped the game up so much. To my surprise though it managed to live up to my expectations. To make this post short I'll just say it's one of the best games I have ever played. I adore everything about it. If you like RPGs at all you owe it to yourself to give this a try.

I finally got around to beating Danganronpa this past thursday, and I really liked it. It definitely scratched the phoenix wright itch I had. Iunno if I liked it as much as say, 999, but it was good. now to wait for 2 to go on sale on steam.

I guess I'll start a list and add the games I beat so far a little later on.

5/11: Danganronpa 1

Updated my first post with Project X Zone 2.

It's mediocre at best because of the long drawn out story and gameplay style. Not to mention, I don't care for some of the characters. Still, there are some characters I do like, it has great moments, and the setpieces and music are cool. Just hope they bring in MORE!

Here are my lame-butt ideas since we know there will be a third:

Capcom:

Team:

Viewtiful Joe and Captain Commando

Ken and Alex

Clair Redfield and Leon Kennedy

Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine

X and Zero

Guile and Charlie Nash

King Arthur and Monster Hunter

Dante and Vergil

Lilith and Morrigan

Felicia and Hsien-Ko

Solo:

Frank West

June Lin Milliam

Jin Saotome

Trish

Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey

Namco:

Team:

Jin and Kazuya

Yuri and Flynn

Lloyd and Genis

Cassandra and Siegfried

Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima

Ling and Alisa

Guntz and Klonoa

Lindow and Sakuya

BlackRose and Kite

Soma and Alisa

Solo:

Heihachi

Estelle

Taki

Valkyrie

Haseo

Sega:

Team:

Bayonetta and Jeanne

Akira Yuki and Pai Chain

Vyse and Aika

Ichiro Ogami and Gemini Sunrise

Erica Fontaine and Sakura Shinguji

Zephyr and Vashyron

Welkin Gunther and Alicia Melchiott

Sol BadGuy and Ky Kiske

Axel Stone and Eddie Hunter

Toma and Cyrille

Solo:

Ryo Hazuki

Segata Sanshiro

Hatsune Miku

Gilius Thunderhead

Sonic The Hedgehog

Konami:

Team:

Simon Belmont and Alucard

Solid Snake and Raiden

Bill Rizer and Lance Bean

Solo:

Otacon

Harry Mason

Square Enix:

Cloud and Tifa

Fei Fong Wong and Elhaym Van Houten

Solo:

Lara Croft

Erdrick

Agent 47

Nintendo:

Pit and Palutena

Shulk and Dunban

Chrom and Lucina

Fox and Falco

Corrin and Robin

Solo:

Metaknight

Magnus

Intermixed:

Strider Hiryu and Joe Musashi

KOS-MOS and Fiora

Kalas and Sagi

Citan Uzuki and Sharla

Isaac and Misturigi

Rashid and Shaheen

Agent G and Chuck Greene

Nathan Rad Spencer and Barret Wallace

Eliza and Demitri

Ulala and Lucky Chloe

Bruno Deligner and Ada Wong

Tron Bonne and Slippy Toad

Hayato Kanzaki and Captain Falcon

And as for the Rival Units, everyone should have one. I want to see Chrom fight Gangrel, and so on. I don't want to fight generic henchmen forever.

Should've updated this before going on vacation. These are from the past couple of weeks.

- The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ (Switch)

Pretty engaging rogue-like game. If I had bought a copy I'd probably be compelled to keep playing a lot more of it. [image]

- Breath of Fire (SNES - Wii U)
I had to double check that this was an SNES game, 'cause parts of it feel way more dated and old fashioned than RPGs like FFIV, FFVI, and Chrono Trigger. Overall it was okay, but between objectives being poorly explained and battles being best run on auto it was hard to get really invested in the game. [image]

- Mirror's Edge Catalyst (PS4)
I had forgotten that this was a reboot so I was really confused by the story at first. Anyway the core parkour gameplay is still pretty entertaining but the open-world format was a mistake. Running through the same areas over and over got to be so boring. [image]

- Transistor (PSN - PS4)
Apparently it was recently the 3 year anniversary of the game's release so I thought I'd replay it. It was a lot shorter than I remembered, though I'd also forgotten how complex the function stuff can be which is pretty fun to experiment with. [image]

- Puyo Puyo Tetris (Switch)
Two solid puzzle games in one. I kind of suck at Puyo Puyo but swap and fusion are pretty fun anyway. [image]

The Silver Case (PS4) - I got to say on the Silver Case all I knew about this game was it was a VN by Suda51. I got to say after finishing it, it was very enjoyable the gameplay is awkward but after the learning curve is over its fun.

Steins;Gate  (Vita) - I watch the anime years ago and it was enjoyable but finally playing the game it was great.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (PS4) - I found this more enjoyable then the 2nd season. A new main character made the whole drama a lot more interesting

Beat: Framed, iOS

It's the free App of the Week, and I've been meaning to play it, so I did.

Also, not related to Framed:

I hadn't noted this earlier, but I've done:

Realized I forgot to make a post for my last few games beat so I'll put them here.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is one of the better puzzle games I've played in awhile.  Lots of stuff to do and it's just really fun.  Haven't really played online so I might go back to it at some point and do that.

Persona 5 is excellent.  I think it might actually surpass 3 for me as the best Persona game, if only for the quality of life things they added, which were awesome.  Can't recommend this one enough if you like RPGs.

Injustice 2 is a great fighting game that I see myself playing for awhile.

Tekken 7 is another great fighting game, I just suck at it.  I can't get a good handle on the movement, but that isn't the game's fault, just mine.

Donkey Kong Country is still as great as it always has been.  I like to go back and play them pretty much every year, so expect 2 and 3 on here sometime soon whenever I have time to play through them.

Иecro, fuzz, and XLW are the only ones who might find that their scores may be off. Иecro wasn’t super specific with things, I couldn’t find a true master post for fuzz, and I’m not sure which is XLW’s master post as the only updated post I could find was like their fourth post.
