Rumor: Super Mario Run requires lots of data for constant, involved play

SMR could use up to 75 megabytes of data an hour...

I don't see this being that big of an issue. When I'm out and about and what to play a mobile game, I usually only play for a few mins and have LTE or at a place that has Wi-Fi. If I want put in some loner gameplay sessions, I can always play at home on my Wi-Fi.

I'll give this one a pass. On top of Nintendo acting like no one's ever made a runner before, the data cost is just too steep. I can understand them wanting to provide a stable experience, but most folks play mobile games on the go, so having to be connected to Wi Fi to not eat up my data plan kind of defeats the purpose of this being on mobile.
