Alola Pokédex Progress

Hey everyone, just curious how everyone is doing on their Alola Dex now that the games have been out for over a week now. Share progress, let us know what you are struggling with, etc. Has anyone already gotten the Dex completed 100%?

 

Only up to the third Island so far, but I've been making sure to catch just about everything I can and evolving things if I have the opportunity to do so. My Dex at this moment is at 128/158, a 42% completion rate. My most completed Island Dex at this time is likely the Melemele Dex, followed shortly by Akala and Ula'ula, though they are all above the 50% mark.

Waiting for Pokébank update so I can legit 100% it.  

 

I'm currently at 48%, because of new Pokémon and new forms only.

@Zora It's a "level up anywhere in the canyon" kind of deal. I was so glad to get mine. XD

My progress: Obtained/Seen: Alola: 92/194. Melemele: 57/96. Akala: 46/94. Ula'ula: 46/98. Poni: 38/62. Time: 33:13.

Does anyone have the moon exclusives they can trade me / trade back? I don't know which ones I'm missing tbh. And how are we supposed to get all the fossils?

You buy both from your version. Breed them. Trade for the two from Moon.

I'm still playing through the story on Sun then I'm going to wait for the Pokebank update, breed a good team for Moon with my 6IV Ditto, beat the Moon story THEN I'll start caring about the Pokedex since I'll have all the UB and Legendaries

The shopkeep words it weird, makes it sound like you can only have one, but it's really one of EACH. I'll probably get breeds from my fiancee.

 

I think you can get fossils from Isle Aphun as well, but I'm not sure.

alola dex is currently at 88%, which is mostly everything I could get easily. Everything else requires a trade item or a stone I don't have, like 50 kings rocks.

 

there are a couple Pokemon just roaming about I can't find either which is a huge pain, so progress has slowed considerably lol

Beat Acerola's trial, caught everything I could in the Abandoned Megamart, and evolved a couple more things. About to traverse through Route 15 to chase after Team Skull.

Same. Fishing is the WORST. All I get is Magikarp and my dex is like "nope there's dratini in there, promise"

The only fishing I had problems with so far was Feebas, and I just traded for one over GTS since I had tried about 50 bubbling spots in Brooklet Hills and didnt get a single Feebas. 5% encounters seems to be either hit or miss for me, I had a lot of luck with finding a handful of Stufful on Route 8, but couldn't find any Feebas.

5% seems like bullshit to me, tbh, for everything. I don't think that's a correct number.  

 

i found a feebas accidentally and traded it on gts for something i needed and then had to get another one to evolve it lol
