Eliwood8
I feel bad for anyone that buys the original recipe console when they're just going to release the extra crispy version like a year later anyway. purple_beard, Chrom, DLurkster and 1 other 1 3 Quote Link to comment
Chrom
I'm pretty sure it's just a marketing stunt, but it's still pretty funny. Quote Link to comment
Tyranogre
Will that Colonel Sanders dating sim be playable on it? Quote Link to comment

Probably not the first time an unrelated company has pretended to be putting out a ridiculous-premise console to drum up publicity, either... Quote Link to comment

I think this is legit only because ppl are slowly realizing that the video gaming when it comes to revenues eclipse the movie industry so that is why in recent years we see companies who may have no business in gaming just dive in like Google with Stadia, Amazon Luna and now this with KFC. This doesn't surprise me at all. Will it be successful is another thing and I guess the possible hilarity and embarrassment. Quote Link to comment

Isn't this more-or-less the exact same thing that happened in the early 80's that led to the great video game crash? Quote Link to comment

Hmm, yes but like the age of social media today the video game industry was in its infantry. I would like to hope that those who are entering this landscape know the legacy of video games and what comes of it that so many appreciate today and don't take it for granted. Lofty but that is my hope and difference between then and now. When anything new booms, there's gonna be trouble beginnings I would like to believe a path is set for others to pursue without making the same mistakes of the past. Quote Link to comment
