Link, the Hero of Dreams
I’m really conflicted about buying PMD. On one hand, that game was a classic as a kid. But, Iheard the remake barely changes much. 10 vs 60 dollars. Hmmmmmm.... Quote Link to comment
Dancing Mog
If you want to support the series you should get it cause this could be a test to see if fans want more PMD on the Switch. Quote Link to comment
Link, the Hero of Dreams
That's like saying I should buy Final Fantasy XIII just to support the series. ... I know it's a weak analogy, but I think you get my point. Why spend a $60 dollars on a game I might never play, or just outright think didn't hold up to my expectations? Compare this to the ORAS remakes, where mostly everything was better than the originals. (Except, of course the Battle Frontier, RIP.) I'd rather play the originals, since they're cheaper. I'd support the series from a different way than just that. I want more PMD, of course! But if it was an entirely new game, I would probably give in. Unless it was released around Gen 9; that's why I didn't buy Gates. I want to see the new Poke'mon get new personalities too! Edited March 6, 2020 by Link, the Hero of Dreams Quote Link to comment
Dancing Mog
There is always the demo to try, very short but shows off some new stuff(can't exploit the Makuhita Dojo in demo but more useful than the original). Quote Link to comment
