I just hope that Monolift Soft has learned how to run their games well when the Switch is undocked...First time an announcement in a while had me shaken, especially after having revisited the game so recently and falling back in love with its atmosphere. I had just talked about the original game on my social media on the 25th and wanting the game to see new life on the Nintendo Switch. I'm very excited to really dive in deep with the game again on Nintendo Switch, and will probably go ahead and do a run through my New 3DS copy before the definitive edition releases. Best RPG I've played and best Wii game in my opinion, made the Direct an A+. Quote Link to comment

Awesome easily the DLC character I'm most excited for.ay even Brave the servers to play him soon as possible. Terry is meh, cool for people who'd like him but pretty much down at the bottom alongside Hero and Bayonetta for characters I don't care about. More DLC coming is pretty cool though I'm personally hoping it's not so Thurs party centric. -TMS and Xenoblade Saga Switch rerelease - Maybe I'll finally give these two a shot? I've told myself I wanted to try Xenoblade for awhile now. TMS never cared about as much but Three Houses has got me all hyped on FE again so I may be more willing to try it. - DMC 2... Just why? It'd be one thing if they were releasing the collection on Switch or something but DMC 2 is easily the worst of the series. Three would probably get me excited though but it's strange that there is a collection of the game and instead they're just releasing them individually. I know there was a lot of other stuff but those were the main things that caught my eye. I haven't watched it yet though just read the announcements (and watched Terry's trailer). Kezay Posted September 4, 2019 Share Posted September 4, 2019 Nintendo out here dropping E3 level directs in September like it's just another day. I loves it! First of all, FIRST OF ALL, so many games coming. There was a tagline in the direct that said "open your calendars" and I'm sure they meant "open your wallets" because holy geez there is a lot coming. Second, Smash... where does it end!? No really, how much more can do with this game!? I figured most of the big players had been represented, the well was starting to run shallow. But then they pull out Piranha Plant and I'm like, oh, well I guess not every character has to be a headliner. Then they trot out Terry Bogard, announce more DLC fighters coming after Season Pass 1 is done, toss in Homerun, Mii Customization sharing and new Mii Costumes. I think Sakurai is really trying to emphasize the Ultimate in Smash Ultimate and I honestly have no idea when or how this ride is going to end. Third, Xenoblade Definitive Edition. I both want and don't want this game because I already poured nearly 100 hours into the Wii original and saw all I wanted to see. But dang it, that little bit of footage we saw was EVERYTHING and more. So yeah, I'll probably get it but I don't have nearly the same amount of disposable time for super huge epics like I used to, but I'll make due. Which brings me to Tokyo Mirage Sessions...I loved this game on Wii U. Absolutely hate that it got such a bad rap over the whole costume altering debacle because I'm sure it drove away people who otherwise would have gotten and played an incredible RPG. I really want to play it for all the new stuff they're adding but the original was a 70-80 hour game for me and I'm pretty sure I 100%'d it at that from what I can remember. Don't think I can do that again but I do hope it finds the audience it deserves this time around. Rogue Company looks like it could be a fun third person shooter. Looking forward to hearing more from it. Would also like to give Overwatch a try but we'll see. We've had another hero shooter, Paladins, for a good while that I've really been wanting to give a shot and just haven't had the time so I don't know if I'll be able to give OW the time of day either. Doom 64, me and my dad played the heck out of this back in the day. Mostly my dad but I still hung around for the ride. The game looks so crisp and clean though. There's so much I'm missing because it was so much coming through. Seeing how great Luigi's Mansion 3, Animal Crossing and Link's Awakening are shaping up to be. Surprising, out of left field announcements like Deadly Premonition and Star Wars and being reminded even more of the upcoming games in the next few months that had great updates like Daemon x Machina and Pokemon. The way Capcom has handled DMC on Switch is a joke at best so I didn't even react to seeing DMC 2 pop up. Capcom needs to quit trippin' and I wish Nintendo wouldn't entertain them by posting up their attempts at selling DMC piecemeal to Switch owners instead of as a collection. I was hoping for some Mario Maker 2 DLC Happy to see that SNES is coming to Switch, including Yoshi's Island and Starfox. Terry in Smash... I liked the trailer. But I've got Dragon Quest in Smash now, anything else added is just a bonus. I'm still hoping they add an expanded Smash Run to Ultimate. I still have FE# for the WiiU waiting to be played, so I don't feel inclined to pick up the Switch port. GameFreak has managed the herculean effort of slightly improving Pokemon Aime and Trainer Customization after 6 years. I'm hoping AC New Horizons will consume my life next year. Xenoblade looks okay.
