Where does the Pachinko Slot Machine fit into the Castlevania timeline?

the moment where konami saw the future of gaming was gambling anyway so decided to at least not be coy about it.

Nintendo: "Hey, is it all right if we put Castlevania in Smash?"

Konami: "Castlewhat? Who the fuck are you? We make doughnuts now."

Nintendo: "Eh, let's just do it and see if they complain."

Konsmi: "Hey, you wanna buy a doughnut on your way out?"

I think it spun out of Castlevania Judgment , and represents the timeline where the Time Reaper was successful in wiping out previously established Castlevania lore.

Finished the good ending of Dracula X Chronicles!

And by "finished the good ending", I mean "rescued all the maidens, spent an hour trying to kill Dracula's final form, finally landed the killing blow while Maria had only a sliver of health left, only to get hit by a stray bat at the exact same second, resulting in a Game Over, then said fuck it and looked up the ending on YouTube."

Time for Dawn of Sorrow!

The thing is everyone is still expecting VR to be "the future" (granted, people said the same thing about 3d) whereas handhelds were being phasing out.

Id est, Sony sees them securing themselves as a market leader in what is currently a niche, but expected to be huge, market with PSVR but saw them as having only a sliver of a dying market with Vita.

That said, I don't think the VR will be the future because it's too many problems for the average person (e.g. costs, require lots of space, headache inducing, etc.) and I wouldn't he surprised if it's slowly forgotten about a la 3D. But, that's my own opinion so y;

I don't think it's the future either. Like you mentioned, it's too much of a hassle.

Never have been a fan of VR. Looks very uncomfortable and terrible for your eyes. I'd always seen it as grotesque, both in form and meaning.

In regards to the near-future of videogame technology, I think we're approaching a time of lacking innovation. The PS4 and Xbox One are identical outside of some spec variance, and the Switch has no identity of its own outside of functional convenience. Computer technology itself has been stagnant now for almost a decade because there's no longer a need for better technology among most consumers. If anything, I feel like most current technology isn't utilized to its best potential. Cable "HD" television looks terrible on a 4K TV, web browsers take a few GB of memory if you have a few tabs open, videogames stutter because god forbid we reduce the amount of blades of grass flowing in the wind that contribute absolutely nothing to the user experience.

i miss jugdral so I restarted Fire Emblem 4. Time for another holy war, oh boy.

I want to try to make my gen 1 team better though. I kind of winged it on Sigurd because I was learning mechanics, and I also missed the forseti tome so y;

Thracia 776 is also coming along really nicely.

They're currently up to Chapter 21x.

Though, if you're that desperate to play a game with Leif as the main lord, there is another option...
