I mean technically we got remakes of Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos 1 & 2, Metroid Prime, and later on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Not sure what else I'm forgetting. Quote Link to comment
alienboyva
I wouldn't be surprised if this is nothing more than Nintendo just re-upping patients. Most likely Nintendo would rather just continue with remastering/remaking GCN games for Switch/Switch 2. purple_beard 1 Quote Link to comment

alienboyva
👀 *obviously this doesn't mean a localization* So, we technically now have Rare Replay on Switch (Including other Rare games already on NSO)... That Killer Instinct theme! ❤ Edited February 21 by alienboyva purple_beard 1 Quote Link to comment

DLurkster
I will try that but I know this game wasn't translated not because text game is lengthy but because of androgynous ppl in the game. Stupid of course but yeah, let's see how this will work out for me. Quote Link to comment

I wished we would have gotten Yoshi's Cookie (specifically the NES version) instead. I know it's more considered a Yoshi game and they want Mario games for MAR10 Day, though Mario is in it. Plus, need I mention the whole SMB universe? IDK why Nintendo hasn't re-released this since the Wii VC. I wonder if it's do to some weird licensing issue, especially since we never got the SNES version on the WIi VC? While the NES and GB versions were published by Nintendo (developed by Tose), the SNES version was published and developed by Bullet Proof Software (a predecessor to the now Blue Planet Software. Both which, were founded by Henk Rogers, of the "Tetris rights" fame). Both the GB and NES versions say licensed from Bullet Proof Software on the title screen, so... Yoshi's Cookie is such a great little puzzle game (I think the NES version is the best)... and that music! Quote Link to comment
