purple_beard
If anyone gets Pool Panic let me know, I'd like to hear more about first hand impressions. $15 is a little steep for to take a blind leap of faith. Quote Link to comment
Eliwoodman12
Not sure I will grab the X collection. I still have the PS2 hooked up with X Collection already in it. Stuck/left off on X5 and from what I hear it's all down hill from there. I guess it's worth it if I want to take it on the go, or play handheld, but with side scrollers, I actually like paying attention to every detail and I often get distracted if I play games on the go. Also still want to get through the regular Mega Man series. Quote Link to comment
DLurkster
So what is Nintendo doing with this title this week? "This weeks Game are Mega (comma) Man?" Is there a hidden meaning with the comma there or something? Quote Link to comment
Eliwood8
It's just a pun on Mega Man, as in "these games are great, man." I love the idea of eight covers for Octopath Traveler, but I wish they had just come with the game (especially the Wayfarer's Edition). I'm not going to print out decent quality full-color covers myself any time soon. Doc Brown 1 Quote Link to comment

From what I remember, X5 was suppose to be the finale for the series that would then lead into the Zero series, but the higher ups decided to screw it up by wanting X6. X7 is a shitshow. But X8 is actually really good, albeit breaking a number of X conventions, such as replacing heart containers with an upgrade shop (though Zero gets a number of new weapons, so YMMV in this regard if you want a traditional Megaman X experience. I actually do own a copy of X8. I played through maybe the first level and found myself to be pretty impressed. I've seen videos on X7 but I'll eventually play through it. I am only stuck on X5 because I was trying to get the right ending or whatever ending is considered canon. But at this point, it's been a few years since I've booted it up, so I'll probably just finish the way it is and get whatever ending I get and move on. Quote Link to comment
DLurkster
@Eliwood8: Oh shit, I get it wow. I wasn't thinking about as sentence but literally the game series. Quote Link to comment
