purple_beard
I'm only putting the video up for a reference point but... If Sega is releasing classic games under the Ages banner... Neo Geo is doing game by game ports with Hamster... I believe Johnny Turbo is for Data East games.... Basically, I am wondering if basically all the legacy games that once were under one banner as Virtual Console will basically have each system/company put their classic content out as individual games under each's own banner of choice. ...This line of thought seems in line with Nintendo's talk about how it might handle their own classics when they start coming out later and in that regard they are already doing Arcade Classic Ports themselves for some titles. Kezay
The VC as we knew it doesn't seem like it's gonna be a thing so this might be the alternative they're going with. On the one hand I guess I can see why doing compilations might be a better alternative for publishers but I'm sure that will also mean games we used to see on VC will get lost in the cracks if they weren't as well known or didn't perform well at retail.
