Chrom
Hartman joining in on that Ugandan Knuckles meme earlier this year should've tipped you off sooner that he wasn't a person of good character. Link to comment
Tyranogre
Ugandan Knuckles is just a silly meme that just so happened to become associated with terrible people. What’s not cool is making a joke that Tara Strong was responsible for Mary Kay Bergman’s suicide when the two of them were close friends. Link to comment

Chrom
I personally make it a point not to buy from Amazon if I can help it. I just don't like the feeling of contributing to their business. Spring 1 Link to comment

Tyranogre
Re-started Donkey Kong 64 after being scared off by the awful camera three years ago. Just got Lanky, and it's a pretty fun platformer so far. Link to comment
blcdude1
What amazes me is how far Ugandan Knuckles is removed from the original meme. That version of Knuckles appeared for about a second in Gregzilla's review of Sonic Lost World, in which the Knuckles says all of two words. Two weeks later, that same user uploaded a video called Knuckles Sings. There were a number of other Knuckles Sings videos (including All Star, because of course). The Knuckles Sing meme got so popular, a deviantArt user even created a 3D model of Knuckles based on the animation in September 2017. People started using that model in VR Chat, and in December 2017, we started seeing Ugandan Knuckles videos, featuring the Knuckles Sings Knuckles. And the rest, as they say, is history. It's kind of like Pepe the Frog; in that what we see online now is so far from the creator's original intent. If anything, it's an interesting case study in how much the internet can transform a person's creation. Tyranogre 1 Link to comment
Tyranogre
The "do you know de wae" catch phrase is from an extremely-low-budget Ugandan action movie called "Who Killed Captain Alex?". Link to comment
Chrom
Yes, and no one uses the meme to make reference to a movie that anyone has ever watched. It's still not a good meme regardless of who supports it, and Hartman posting about it should've been a good hint of his values. ace 1 Link to comment
