Sir Grim Locksmith VIII
Aye, so it turns out that whatever's left of Nsider2 officially shut down for good. I know no one really cared about the site post-migration, but it's still kind of painful to watch our former home go out with such a whimper. To commemorate the site I kind of wanted to use this thread as a pseudo funeral service or shrine or something, one in which we share fond memories and screenshots of Nsider2 to preserve its former existence. I'll start with my first ever post. Kezay and AGES 2 Quote Link to comment

Sir Grim Locksmith VIII
Just now, The Ultimate Mario Fan said: How can something die that was already dead? Well, I mean, I guess it finally decomposed completely. Like, it was dead, but it was still there for people to see on the web. Now it's gone for good. Quote Link to comment
Kezay
It's a shame what happened to the place over time and how everything went down. Following the closure of Nsider I was sort of floating around to different fansites that were either created or grew in popularity within its wake. One of those was Nintendopipeline and it was there that I was contacted and told about NS2 and upon joining I realized that like 90% of those I chatted and had fun with on Nsider had migrated there so that eventually became my permanent home as I started culling some of the other sites I visited. At least for the good times, I'll always have a soft spot for it. alienboyva, Sir Grim Locksmith VIII and Doc Brown 3 Quote Link to comment
Fuzzer1
Went there to check, signed in and the screen went white on my phone. Yep. It’s dead alright. That controversey with the site host killed it for sure. Quote Link to comment
Tyranogre
For what it's worth, I seem able to view the forums just fine from my iPad, which I haven't used to browse them since before the CG uprising, and thus I'm no longer "logged in". It's only on my computer, which I recently logged in a few days ago to archive my LP, that's having an issue accessing them. Quote Link to comment
Ridley Prime
Yeah, I'm kinda beyond feeling anything for what had remained of the site at this point. While I miss a certain number of the people I knew that were either gone before NS2 kicked the bucket or didn't migrate here/find this place, gotta move on eventually. AxelBlaze
Don't worry it will fully shutdown for good. Who knows maybe Nsider2 domain goes on sale... Purchase it and have it redirect to Ninfora from now on! Quote Link to comment
Fuzzer1
So what exactly caused the whole mess in the first place with CG? Quote Link to comment

Don't forget the time when the site got those really bad ads that almost gave people viruses. Quote Link to comment

THOSE things. *groans* Really wished we knew what CG’a mindset was in letting NS2 linger on with such outdated tech. Quote Link to comment

purple_beard
************************* ************************* Fun while it lasted and was somewhat better than NS1. The post NS1- NS2 starting era was very tough for me to find a decent Nintendo forum. I think NWR was where I made the most headway but that whole community just didn't fit me. I still like their news articles though. Quote Link to comment
Eliwood8
Ever since the exodus, half the time I try to revisit NS2 I get a high risk website warning blocking me anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Quote Link to comment

Tyranogre
Just tried signing in from my iPad. Apparently, it works just fine as long as you’re not signed in. So if you delete your cookies, you should theoretically be able to salvage anything that’s not locked behind the board archive, as that requires an account to view. Quote Link to comment
