Banana Bloodplanet
If someone wakes me up by talking to me, I won't have much of a clue what they're saying. I can hear them, and I might mindlessly repeat something they say, but I won't consciously be paying much attention and will forget the conversation and whatever I said during it soon after. I'll remember that the conversation happened, but I won't remember what was said. One time when this happened, my heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to literally burst. (I realize that part at least isn't normal and is something I should get checked out if it happens again) This wasn't always happening. It started around last year. I've also been having unpleasant feelings in general when waking up lately that are hard to put into words, but they're mostly in my head and sometimes my chest. Quote Link to comment
April
the forgetting things when half-awake thing is normal for me. particularly if you fall back asleep soon. idk about the rest. Quote Link to comment
Kezay
Knowing what was said but forgetting the details of it I've been through and I would think it's a common thing. But like Pichi I can't attest to the rest of the stuff there. Quote Link to comment
Bearissoslow
sounds like you're being woken up in the middle of REM sleep, or something to that effect. it's strange that it's happening frequently for you but it's otherwise nothing terribly unusual. however, if you're not feeling rested after sleeping 6-8 hours, that could be an issue and i would suggest mentioning it to either your general care doctor (if you have one) or setting an appointment with a pulmonologist.
