Popular Post Yellow
I'm going to be playing Legend of Zelda for the first time ever, live on Twitch. The times may change depending if something comes up. I'm hoping to have this be a reoccurring thing on Sundays, but if I have a meeting or my favourite show is on I might change. I'm going to try doing a blind run of the first Fire Emblem game too. I don't know if I'll find the game interesting or not so I might not do follow up streams, but we'll see. Lucina
This has to be highlighted when it happens like N4A movie night, the Great Zelda Undertaking! Yellow 1 Quote Link to comment
Erdrick
Are you going to play this completely blind? Quote Link to comment
Yellow
Yes, well mostly blind, if people get hints or spoil things then obviously it's not completely blind anymore. I'm going to try playing it as blind as I can. I will admit this, I did played it before for like a minute, but I don't really remember anything from that and I didn't get far. Quote Link to comment
Lucina
We can just let you know about something when and if you specifically ask for or about it. That's how I think blind playthroughs should generally be respected, live or in video series form. Quote Link to comment

Cryptic
If you're not going for any of the optional items, the original Zelda isn't that hard to figure out for the most part. I only got stuck on "Grumble Grumble" because what the hell does that mean. Quote Link to comment
Yellow
Thanks to those who showed up! See you next Sunday (or Monday). Appearently I can't add a poll so tell me, should I also start doing a blind live stream of Fire Emblem Dark Dragon and Sword of Light? Edited October 3, 2016 by Yellow Quote Link to comment
Youngster Joey
I watched for the later half. It was an entertaining session. Will you be continuing Zelda, or jumping to Fire Emblem? Fire Emblem 1 for the Famicom is... not very good, and hard. If you're looking for a better entry point into the series, consider "Fire Emblem" for the GBA. Quote Link to comment
Yellow
I think I want to try doing them at the same time. Just playing one game at a time can be boring for me. Maybe it'll be hard. I don't know. I want to try it first. People said the same thing about RF1 and it wasn't that bad (it was bad but not so bad it was unbeatable). If it's too hard I can always quit later. Chrom
I don't find FE1 any worse than how Zelda 1 is in respect to its own series. It's in no way a bad game and is very tolerable, especially if you've the patience for games that take their time. Quote Link to comment
Erdrick
I definitely don't think RPG or turn-based games are fun to watch. I don't think I'll be watching any of them. Missed Zelda because I didn't know it was happening today. Quote Link to comment

I have played Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life and I liked it (still haven't gotten to the end of that) so I think I have the patience for anything so long as it allows me to do repetitive tasks. EH_STEVE
I've played through the original so many times I could probably LITERALLY do it blind If you don't use a walkthrough, guide, etc and have never played it before it's not an easy game. Quote Link to comment

Have you ever played anything like Advance Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics? Fire Emblem is most commonly compared to how those games play. Quote Link to comment

Though reading what these games are like they seem like some sort of Nobunga's Ambition or Dungeon Dice Monsters type game. Quote Link to comment

If you know what Pokémon Conquest is like then I would say Fire Emblem is like that, although I'd call it simpler, especially the first one. Quote Link to comment
