First no MH World, then MH XX isn't coming to the West, now this? So what will Capcom bring to the Switch? Street Fighter and Resident Evil games we've played before but with small changes here and there. Quote Link to comment
The Albraskan
It's pretty terrible when most, if not all of those Mega Man games have been on a Nintendo system before. Then there's the fact that Switch or any Nintendo system for that matter is probably where a majority of the Mega Man fans are. Guess Capcom just really hates money these days. Quote Link to comment

Penance Fracture
Isn't there some licensing issue with Mega Man 8? Also, didn't we kinda already know this? Edited August 28, 2017 by Schmengland Quote Link to comment

Penance Fracture
That's why I'm asking. Far as I know, Mega Man 8 has never officially touched a Nintendo device. Quote Link to comment
avalonknight
Yeah, unfortunately, it has been known that the Switch won't receive a port for a quite a while, and this only states the same. As for the licensing issue...what issue? Megaman 8 did receive a Gamecube port via the Anniversary Collection. As far as I know, unlike Legacy 1 (which is an emulation), Legacy 2 is a new port. I can only think of possible porting problems. (Also recalls the problem with the "anniversary" port of MM7 missing the "Mode 7" parts, wondering if that was resolved in Legacy 2) Edited August 28, 2017 by avalonknight Doc Brown 1 Quote Link to comment

Cryptic
Nintendo should really be stepping up to get MMLC 1 and 2 on Switch. It just makes sense. Probably Disney Afternoon Collection and DuckTales: Remastered too. Doc Brown 1 Quote Link to comment
purple_beard
It is COMPLETE BS that a collection of games made famous by Nintendo and the NES/SNES to not be on a Nintendo platform. Quote Link to comment

Kezay
I really do not get Capcom's Switch strategy at all. Quote Link to comment
Eliwoodman12
Sorry to bring up an old thread, but it looks like Capcom changed their minds from their initial plans. Grabbed both Legacy collections today! Quote Link to comment

Fuzzer1
Well that’s good to see them do a 180 and have them on the Switch. Eliwoodman12 1 Quote Link to comment
avalonknight
I'm still debating if I want it digitally or physically for this. Still got GCU, so it'll be about the same price as if I was buying both on the eShop at 15 and 20 bucks each. I heard the first run copies comes with a 30th anniversary screen cloth. A nice but weird little bonus if you want anything 30th anniversary related. (I still prefer the 25th anniversary pins I got at PAX East one year.) Quote Link to comment

Not bad and mine did come with a cloth. 16 hours ago, EH_STEVE said: Physical though? No but I'll take it than have nothing. Quote Link to comment
Link, the Hero of Dreams
Did we have to beat this dead horse thread? Played the first two games though. Indifferent to 1 because it's infuriatingly hard and cheap if you don't use the REWIND button, but 2's better because it doesn't have the same problems as the first, thank gosh for E-Tanks, and METAL BLADE IS THE BEST WEAPON EVER 10/10. Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will receive separate physical copies in Japan. Sometimes I just don't understand what Capcom is doing anymore do they even want Switch money.
