Ridley Prime 409
Have heard mixed things on it so far, but good to hear. Even with the lack of films this year due to current events, out of some of the films we did get (Birds of Prey, New Mutants, and such), figured WW 1984 couldn't be any worse than those. purple_beard 1113
I plan to see WW1984 tomorrow. ************************************ Detective Pikachu/BR --Brother got it as a gift and I had kind of wanted to see it on the low myself. Not bad but the end kind of channeled the final scene from Batman and then.... Pokefloats LOL. I actually didn't find it that bad for what it was. Quote Link to post
Link, the Hero of Dreams 342
Soul. Honestly, glad I saw this too. As for WW84, not everyone will enjoy it. But I haven’t watched much movies this year, and because I’m one of the unlucky saps who can’t work at my local movie theater now... I honestly needed this. Quote Link to post

I saw WW84 tonight, it was pretty solid IMO. Quote Link to post

Doc Brown 1200
Just rewatched Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Still love it. 8/10 Saw this back in December. Akira - 8/10 Pretty good movie. It almost seems to be an allegory about nuclear energy. Edited January 10 by Doc Brown Quote Link to post

Nothing against its SciFi nature but amine from that time I am more into would be like Golgo13, Ninja Scroll, and the original Ghost in the Shell. Maybe some Vampire Hunter D ( although, truth be told, I was more into the sequel). Quote Link to post

purple_beard 1113
Cox Spotted On "Spider-Man" Set? - Dark Horizons Hmm. I'd say I liked all of the casting for the Marvel shows from Netflix. Maybe now that some of the rights deals between Disney, Fox, Netflix, and Marvel get right it can actually be a reality those actors get to reprise them. Allen Still Hopeful For "Galaxy Quest 2" - Dark Horizons Man, I'd love a sequel. I thought the first one was great.... basically Star Wars/Spaceballs equivalent for Star Trek. Quote Link to post
Ridley Prime 409
Not bad. Guess I'll use a first month of HBO Max for this and the Mortal Kombat reboot, though not expecting much of it. Was gonna do so at first for WW 1984, but with the mixed things I heard about it, decided to wait and see it later another way. Quote Link to post
"Casual Trash" Kirbys 328
I am betting those two will fight, see a different more powerful threat, team up to destroy it, and become mutual allies. So kinda like BvS Quote Link to post

Ridley Prime 409
I believe the rights to Godzilla revert back to Toho after this film, so not holding my breath for sequel bait. Hopefully there's that sense of finality to it if that's the case. Quote Link to post
EH_STEVE 2433
Logan Lucky - Fantastic heist movie Slaughterhouse Rulez - A funny horror Alone - A pretty intense hunter/prey survival movie Peppermint - A nice action shoot em up History of Future Folk - A charming, bizarre, comedy Quote Link to post

On April 8th 2022. I'm really looking forward to this. The first movie was way better than I would have ever expected it to be. Sonic was so damn lovable with a mix of his classic and modern attitude/personality. I absolutely can not imagine what this movie would have been like if they had used the original design they had going for Sonic. I can almost guarantee it would have ruined it for me. Nice touch with the Emerald Hill Zone music from Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Edited February 11 by alienboyva Link, the Hero of Dreams 1 Quote Link to post
Ridley Prime 409
Still crazy to think Sonic was the last notable movie from the before times. The sequel was already known for awhile, but good to see updates on it. Quote Link to post
EH_STEVE 2433
Sonic was incredibly enjoyable. Also, more Pokemon movies please. Doc Brown 1 Quote Link to post
