Pokémon Direct 6.6.17

8 minutes isn't that long, but I don't recall any Pokémon games being announced either. If it is for a new game announcement(s), hopefully for Switch and 3DS, then I'm excited.

That starts right when I am suppose to go take out my brother's family dog out, pet sitting until Thursday when my parents come back, though I suppose I could take a few minutes to watch before doing that.

Right around the time I get up on the weekdays, and it's only eight minutes. Hope there's a teaser for Pokémon Stars for the Switch unless the whole direct is focused on it.

"We're announcing that the online features that were exclusive to Japanese Crystal have been reenabled in the international versions and added to Gold and Silver.  All three games will be available as part of our recently announced VC Netflix thing, which we already said would add online features to classic games."

8 minutes seems long enough to tease and talk about one game and maybe briefly mention something already out getting an update.

The main reason I doubt we'll see Pokemon on Switch right now is that Gamefreak is usually slow to adopt new hardware. And Pokemon Bank will probably take them half a year, too.

But yeah, I'm down for a new game on 3DS, and Gen 2 on Virtual Console.

My money's on Stars. Especially with the recent constellation event they had in Pokemon centers in Japan.

I really doubt it would be anything Pokemon Go related since Nintendo usually lets Ninantic poorly handle anything regarding their shitshow application.

Yes, please! And while we're at it I want to see Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 with transfer pack functionality.

Although it might be unlikely to happen, but it would be really nice to see the Japanese only Pokemon TCG 2 be translated and brought to the english (and the other) Eshops alongside the first one

We did end up getting Earthbound Zero (unexpectedly if i might add), and that was a much larger game - so i doubt it would be too hard in comparison....

Also getting Pokemon G/S/C and the first Pokemon Pinball on the Eshop would be pretty nice too, actually

Earthbound Zero isn't a valid argument. NOA had originally localized the game 27 years ago, and they had sitting on it until 2015.
