Juanblue85
Finally some new info regarding what's new on the Nintendo Switch release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch in Japan this fall, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals. On Switch, the sequel features six-person ad-hoc play, two-player battles using the Joy-Con controllers, and the ability to use Kamehameha through the motion sensor. As a special bonus, buyers will receive a code to unlock all of the playable characters from the main story of the previous game early. http://gematsu.com/2017/05/dragon-ball-xenoverse-2-switch-launches-fall-japan#53z9s6MivJKE8KOc.99 Edited July 11, 2017 by Juanblue85 Kezay and TKrazyO 2 Quote Link to comment
TKrazyO
I hope this game comes out over here before the year is over. This is one of my most anticipated games since there hasn't been a Dragonball game on a Nintendo console since Tenkaichi 3 on Wii. Kezay, Eliwoodman12 and Surge135 3 Quote Link to comment
Kezay
Finally some news on the game. I don't think anything had been heard from it since it was shown during the Switch event. Quote Link to comment
Dancing Mog
Hope to hear some more DQ news soon, specifically DQXI for any system for release in NA but would enjoy Xenoverse 2 on the Switch. Quote Link to comment

If you did the kamehameha technique with the wii controls back in Tenkaichi 3 then good news it'll be implemented here as well. TKrazyO 1 Quote Link to comment

Surge135
As someone who has Xenoverse 1 on the 360 but neither an XB1 or PS4 to get Xenoverse 2, this is good news for when I eventually get my own Switch. Granted I may not be able to transfer my old data from X1 over since (I would assume) X2 Switch edition won't have cross-platform connectivity even for the data sharing. With that said, having watched TeamFourStar play the heck out of it on their channels has made me hyped for this game for a while, and I'd love to actually do Parallel Quests with other people for a change instead of just CPUs. Dancing Mog
Now if only the Dragon Quest games could get confirmation now, this year would end up to be one of the best. Quote Link to comment

Dragon Quest is Square Enix, this game is by Bandai Namco. You're not gonna see any confirmation of a DQ from them. Quote Link to comment
Dancing Mog
I realize that and I wasn't trying to say it that way. What I meant was that I hope other companies will continue to confirm games will be coming to the Switch before end of the year. Really happy for Xenoverse 2 getting confirmation since I have it on my X1 but almost no one to play it w/ though the online aspect I find to be weird but I hope enough people here like it enough to get it so I can have fun. Juanblue85
The game has officially been confirmed to NA now. Only EU left for confirmation. https://twitter.com/BandaiNamcoUS/status/866005824790945792/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fgonintendo.com%2Fstories%2F280682-dragon-ball-xenoverse-2-heading-stateside-this-fall Quote Link to comment
Fuzzer1
Someone asked Bandai Namco USA to bring it to Switch on Twitter and they said it's done. Wish I could do screengrabs on my iPhone... Quote Link to comment
Juanblue85
Here is some footage of the game running on Switch! So far unconfirmed until I find more details is that the game will have all currently released DLC. TKrazyO 1 Quote Link to comment
Ridley Prime
Still open to getting Xenoverse 2 one day (probably on PS4 since that's what I got the first one on and your created character from the first can transfer over to 2), but I'd be more interested now to see if Dragon Ball Fighters can be on the Switch. Juanblue85
Looks like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will release on September 7th 2017 in Japan. Hopefully a US/EU release is not too far off. Quote Link to comment
Ridley Prime
Not to take away from the focus of Xenoverse 2, but regarding my previous post about Dragon Ball Fighters being on the Switch, this needs to be retweeted like wildfire. Quote Link to comment

Juanblue85
sucks about no DLC being implement other than Goku Black but I can live with it. Quote Link to comment
Surge135
I guess I can live with going through X1's story again on Switch before going through X2's story Quote Link to comment
