The Guardian Mew
Lets say Professor Oak has upped his game, and he's letting you choose the earliest form of any Pokemon that wasn't one per game or event exclusive. You know nothing about the region of the Pokemon world that you're in, so gym leaders and obtainable Pokemon don't effect your choice Who do you choose for what's likely to be your journey's main Pokemon partner, and why? Иecro
Sneasel. I've always considered him like "my Pikachu", or something along those lines. Easily one of my favorite Pokemon, he's just a bro. Then I'd cop Abra, Gastly, Cleffa, and a Porygon, head on over to Saffron, and hang out with/train under The Mistress of Psychic Pokemon, Sabrina. Journeys are overrated. The Guardian Mew and Doc Brown 2 Quote Link to comment

Cryptic
Abra was always my bro in Pokemon Red. Unfortunately, he has the disadvantage of being useless at a low level. So I'll just go with Squirtle. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
alienboyva
I'd probably still pick Bulbasaur, since he's my fav. PKMN. Plus, I always pick the grass starter. Edited September 25, 2016 by alienboyva The Guardian Mew and Kezay 2 Quote Link to comment
Lucina
I'd pick Feebas. Then I'd pour everything into training her to evolve into Milotic so I'd have my favorite Water Pokemon (it's also one of my favorites overall). I'd have water travel covered, and she'd be great for showbusiness (contests and such). Also, Ice Beam. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Yellow
Vulpix. Cause she's my number 1 favourite. The Guardian Mew and Surge135 2 Quote Link to comment

Sheri
Based on whichs one I liked, Ralts or Aron for me, cause they are my favorites. Based on which ones I'd want to blow through gyms, Bagon. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Doc Brown
Tough choice. Probably either Lapras or Espeon. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Ithrak Utopia
4 of the 6 generations start with a Gym that has a weakness to the Fighting-type when switching out B/W gym line-up for B2/W2's. Many of the regions start out with a normal Pokémon and a normal/flying type Pokémon as well, so I think my best start in the Pokémon world would come from a fighter. I would pick Machop, since I love his evolution line...and can teach a Machamp something crazy like Flamethrower, Fire Blast or Stone Edge. Bowser81889
Hm, that's a tough one. I'd probably pick Pikachu since Ash's close bond with his own reminds me of myself and all the hamsters we've ever had. As a close second (or maybe a tie) I'd pick a Gastly to evolve into Gengar at some point, because it was one of my absolute favorite Pokémon in my younger years and still is. Together, we'd be champs in the making. The Guardian Mew and Doc Brown 2 Quote Link to comment
Namevah
Probably Misdreavus. I find Mismagius awesome, and having a ghost-type feels like a great choice for a starter. Wait, maybe Zubat. If given the opportunity, I always have a Crobat in my party. Always. But since Zubats are damn easy to find, I'll stick with Misdreavus. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Juanblue85
So far for me it has been Lucario but since this is the beginning of the adventure the Riolu will be my pick. Any time Riolu shows up in the PMD series I try to pick it all the time. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Kezay
Sticking with tradition and starting with my boy Squirtle. My eventual Blastoise will be so rad, ya see? Eliwood8 and The Guardian Mew 2 Quote Link to comment
Chrom
Probably Aron because Aggron is my favorite Pokémon. Wouldn't mind having something like a Poliwag or Growlithe either. subrosian and The Guardian Mew 2 Quote Link to comment
CCH
I'd start with Eevee so I can get Umbreon later. Dancing Mog 1 Quote Link to comment
Reilly
Charmander, because if I have an option to start with Charmander, I'mma start with Charmander. The Guardian Mew 1 Quote Link to comment
Dancing Mog
Eevee, or if possible a shiny Eevee, to get an Umbreon. Umbreon is my favorite since it's intro in Gen 2, just something about it made me yearn for it and took me a long time to even get my first one. Trying to balance out my team I would want to go for 5 more Eevee evolutions just like I did in my Alpha Sapphire run(the two not used were Glaceon and Leafeon) though I would switch Flareon out for Galceon but hard to say if I would do that.
