Triforcemaster3
NSN National TV Gamecast - League Championship Series, Minor League World Series, and Promotion Playoff Finals - Game 1 Sarasaland 1-3 Termina - Four Giants Stadium, Clock Town (cloudy, 43 degrees) Yoster Isle 2-3 Tokyo - Saitama Stadium 2002, Tokyo (cloudy, 44 degrees) Venom 3-4 Twilight - Interloper Park, Twilight Hyrule (twilight climate controlled, 68 degrees) Delfino 1-3 Lumoise - Stadium of Light, Lumoise City, Kalos (snow showers, 30 degrees) Orange Star 1-4 Moleville - Moleville Mountain Park, Moleville, Star Continent (clear, 19 degrees) 1st inning - A whole bunch of hits but no runs in the first in any games. We're underway across the networks of NSN. The featured matchup is undoubtedly the contest between defending champion Termina and Fuzzer-led Sarasaland, but elsewhere we have 4 other great playoff matchups as well. 2nd inning - Dangoro and Darbus both homer for the Interlopers, the latter of which a 2-run shot to give the Interlopers a 3-0 lead. In Tokyo, Zangief doubled into the corner to score the first run of the game off of Peach. It is a brutally cold night in the mountainous area around Moleville which means it could be a night of little offense, so Von Bolt scoring the first run for the Generals could be big. 3rd inning - Blue Yoshi homers to tie the score in Tokyo. Meanwhile Monty Mole scores to put the Shines ahead 1-0, and Wolf Odonnell hits an RBI double into the corner to cut the Twilight lead to 1. Still no score in Termina where Romani and Maxwell are getting after it. (If you think this pitching matchup is good just wait for game 2 when Daisy and Cremia do battle) 4th inning - The Miners get to Rachel big time in the fourth, scoring three as Booster, Jonathan Jones and Valentina all score to make it 3-1. Skull Kid and Igos Du Ikana knock in back to back RBI singles to get Termina on the board with a 2-0 lead over Sarasaland. And Dangoro is having a big night, singling in another run to make it a 4-2 Interloper lead 5th inning - Sarasaland get on the board with a Wiggler RBI double to halve the deficit. And in Tokyo, a go-ahead homer by Culex is cancelled out by a bomb by M.Bison 6th inning - Korrina singles in a run for Lumoise, finally ending Fawful's shutout bid...it's a tight one at the SoL as its 1-1. Yaridovich adds some insurance for Moleville with an RBI double into the corner, that might be decisive as Punchinello looks like he's on cruise control. Venom got an RBI single by Panther Caruso to make it a 4-3 contest in the Twilight Realm, while an Onilink home run has got the Mooncrushers up 3-1 on Sarasaland. 7th inning - Sylveon and Greninja come through with some huge RBI singles to put Lumoise ahead by a 3-1 score. And Edmond Honda homers to left to put the Typhoons ahead 3-2 8th inning - no runs in the 8th. All 5 home teams are winning as we go to the 9th inning. Last chance for the road teams to mount a comeback. 9th inning - the 5 home closers were all on their game. Mikau and Sagat get the job done in style as they give Termina and Tokyo a 1-0 series lead in the NBL League Championship Series. Fuzzer1
Good promo for tomorrow night’s pitching duel... while we have an epic one right now too. And we got the lead but then lost it. Oh well. We can get it back. Good news, bad news: Bad news: We’re down 1-0. Good news: We’re only down 1-0 and have Daisy on the mound tomorrow. Either Ana or Popple did that. *sees Lumiose spelled wrongly, and saw the Venioman Victors changed to the Vipers, but doesn't care about the latter, as Mechonis Titans will be changed to Alrest Titans thanks to the support of the new game. On another note, there might be more changes to Bionis' and Alrest's rosters, as XLW is going further into the game, and has a better understanding of everything. About like 40 hours in.* *Caroso. Triforcemaster3
Venom changed their team name in the past summer offseason from the Victors to the Vipers. I probably just forgot to edit that on page 1. **checks Yup. Quote Link to comment
