purple_beard
Interesting information for till I get home and boot up the game myself. Some could argue spoilers, some not... Nothing really huge IMO. Quote Link to comment
Kezay
Y'all! I've been playing this game since after work and it's pretty awesome. That's not the best part. I totally had all intentions of just getting the amiibo and the standard edition and being good with it. After all, I missed out on the preorder window for the collector's edition and surely none would be left for just walk-in buys. I was wrong. Walked up in Target and requested the game and the clerk asked if I wanted the Collector's Edition or the standard? Me, being a bit shocked, asked what was in the Collector's Edition. I already knew what was in there, I just needed the extra time to process the good fortune I stumbled onto. All that said, I got the Collector's Edition!! ^ _ ^ Ithrak Utopia, TKrazyO, Uni and 2 others 4 1 Quote Link to comment

DLurkster
I got the Champions tunic paraglider fabric with the TotK Link amiibo on my first try and first amiibo scan in this game! The rest you see is when I was in Hyrule field and whatever I got from the amiibo is shown here. Quote Link to comment

I have open TotK, Wolf Link, LA Link, SS Zelda, and the Smash line.... I never doubled up on the BotW line or my Anniversary Line. Also, as far as BotW goes, the unlocks never seemed cool enough for me to open mine LOL. And since I could get them at some point.... I was not motivated to open for early access. Like the first game, any amiibo unlocks are tied to the amiibo. So these paraglider cloths are exclusive to any Zelda amiibo you have. As I said I have every single Zelda amiibo made and out there. Just like BotW and I got all the tunic clothing I will get all the paragliders cloths! 21 minutes ago, purple_beard said: I've heard the enemies and ai has been upgraded. Yes, you can say it is years of development or the Switch but imma chalk it up to the horns on the bobkoblins but you can't even sneak to them when they are sleep! I kept wondering why they kept waking up, tho I am sneaking to them. Of course not the hardest enemy as evident of the improved AI but man even that taste have me worried for the much nastier enemies. Quote Link to comment
DLurkster
I've come across a few shrines that have me going.... I'm a real idiot, that I can't solve some of these shrines, the fuck is gonna on, huh?!? On top of that I have been to a few underground places, it's interesting but scary in two ways, there's no way at least to me to go back to the surface, you will just die a lot from just heights and not knowing where you are going. But man I wanna explore some of these places. Quote Link to comment

Ithrak Utopia
I've never had this happen. I played for maybe 45 minutes when my Nintendo Switch put itself into sleep mode as the unit got too hot. It has been feeling hot whenever I play Metroid Prime Remastered too, but has yet to take me out of that game. I'll probably buy compressed air and shoot into the vent on top of the Switch. If that doesn't help, I might have to figure out how to open the system up and clean it that way if there's build up inside. I'm not all that interested in buying a replacement Switch at the moment, so hopefully all is good after a little extra care. Doc Brown and DLurkster 2 Quote Link to comment

purple_beard
Got ultra hand this morning...it's interesting but also a pain ...lost several creations to bs Sky islands (starter) are kind of interesting to poke around on... found a cave I might need bombs for... It sucks being as tired as i am, considering I want to play. Quote Link to comment
DLurkster
Cool. Las night I made it to the Zora Domain Sky Islands and the way to get up there is cryptic as heck but one you do, you really have awesome and eureka moment. I figured out the where but what to look for as hint to a clue wasn't nerve wracking but I had to search the sky debris for a pattern. By chance, I saw what I had to do and it was so cool. Also, the more I go underground, I am seeing more work from Monolith Soft. The underground looks like their work from the strange wildlife and beautiful weird. It really shows there. 2 hours ago, purple_beard said: It sucks being as tired as i am, considering I want to play. I am not as tired as you of course but the long hrs I have been playing this weekend, anytime I feel tired, it's not that I find a point that makes me keep going but just sure hype not matter what I do, I still keep going and my tiredness goes away in 30 minutes, lol. Sounds like a few games like Portal and a few others where you see the next thing and you can't stop because it looks too interesting... But when my eyes start to shut while I'm playing.... DLurkster
Flurry rush with less gravity is a bit tricky to pull off, it's almost refreshing challenge thrown in what you are use to with Flurry rush. Cool and interesting. Quote Link to comment
Juanblue85
Nearly forgot to pick up my TotK amiibo from Best Buy store. Luckily sis asked me to get some pee pads for the dogs so Target and Best Buy were close to each other. purple_beard 1 Quote Link to comment
DLurkster
I flurry rush off the edge of a sky island in less gravity, I almost fell to my death... (if you can all it that as falling in the sky is not to your doom but anyways) I manage while falling of course to to glide to the edge of island to climb myself back up. Scary for a moment but cool. The funny thing is, I was wondering in the moment is this flurry rush gonna work and I saw where it was going once the slowdown stop in flurry rush and yup I was falling off the sky island. What's also funny because of the lack of gravity, you are jumping slow which throws of the flurry rush so there was 2 slowdown moment, the jump then the flurry rush. So that is why I was uncertain if I will make it back to flurry rush the enemy but almost fell to my determent. Quote Link to comment
