  1. I'm sure most people don't use Miitomo anymore, but it will be shutting down on May 9th. I still use it every now and then and I hate to see it go, but I guess people really aren't using it any more. I really liked the Miifoto feature and how you could get different outfits for your mii, especially all the Nintendo themed ones. I hope the outfits comeback in some form on the Switch. I have my mii as my profile icon on Switch and I'd love if I could use all the outfits I collected in Miitomo on my mii. I know they let you use your Miitomo mii on your Nintendo Account, which shows up with the current outfit, on the My Nintendo website and other apps.Though, given how they will no longer show up on your Nintendo Account once the app is shutdown and how miis are buried in the settings app on Switch, it seems Nintendo wants to slowly get rid of miis.
  2. Niantic, the devolper of PKMN GO has announced a new real-world AR game themed around the wizarding world of Harry Potter... Makes me wonder if this is just going to be a reskined PKMN GO or something new and interesting? 🤔 I mean, PKMN GO works as a real-world game, because of the IP. Though, I guess Harry Potter could work, if you think about it. I just hope this doesn't take away from PKMN GO.

  4. Nice to see an new mode coming to SMR. I enjoyed SMR for what it was, but still haven't bought the full game for some reason. I might actually get the full game since it's 50% off. Personally, I think the game should have been $5 to start with, though I have no issues paying $10 for. EDIT: More info...

  6. A new free-to-play game that previously released in Italy and Japan is now out in the rest of Europe and in North America. Train your Magikarp to be the best jumper of them all by training and feeding him and getting a little help from other Pokemon. The game is free to play and available now. http://www.vg247.com/2017/05/25/pokemon-magikarp-jump-is-out-now-on-android-and-ios/
  7. WSJ is reporting this to be true. I could see this happening considering how big the brand is.
  8. Super Mario Run update 2.1.0 out now! I believe this same update is also available for Android. Nice to see achievements have been added. I like how you can use your Miitomo mii with your current outfit as your icon. Though, I see people on my friend list are using their Miitomo mii, but I can't figure out how to do this. All I see in the icon settings is my mii wearing the color shirt I chose when creating my mii.

  13. https://www.reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/comments/5snz3w/1k_spent_barracks_maxed_ama/ So this was shared a few times in the Fire Emblem Heroes thread already, but I'd like to focus on this story by making a new topic for it. I won't criticize the guy for spending so much money on something he wanted, but it is fascinating for me to see someone invest so much in the game. For laughs, check out this guy who spent almost $500 for one Hector but never got them. What are your thoughts on generous spending on mobile games like Fire Emblem Heroes, which is essentially a virtual lottery?

  16. Fire Emblem Heroes

https://fire-emblem-heroes.com/ The battle goes mobile with Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo's hit strategy RPG series reimagined for smart devices. Use this topic for general discussion of the game. Share your impressions, questions, strategies, teams, hero summons, or whatever else. Trailer Heroes and Heroines (part 1, part 2) A brand-new, original Fire Emblem story takes place in the world of Zenith, and you've been summoned to battle. The Emblian Empire seeks to conquer all worlds, while the Askran Kingdom stands against them. Together with Prince Alfonse and Princess Sharena of Askr, you play the role of a summoner who can call upon legendary heroes from other Fire Emblem worlds as your allies, and enlist in the Order of Heroes to aid them in this endless war. Battles are played in traditional Fire Emblem fashion that will appeal to veterans and newcomers alike, and completing tasks nets you rewards that you can use to unlock the potential of your allies, or recruit new ones. Collect your favorites and build your very own army of legends. Fire Emblem Heroes arrives on iOS and Android as a free-to-start game (with in-app purchases for gameplay incentives) on February 2nd, and will see long-term content updates to the game, including new characters, events, and other features.
  17. Nintendo is recommending that you have at least 1 GB of free space if you plan to download Fire Emblem Heroes.... Link: http://gonintendo.com/stories/272825-nintendo-customer-service-recommends-1-gb-of-free-space-for-fire I plan on downloading this on my Nexus 7 tablet, cuz I feel this game would work better on a bigger screen. It's only 16 GB and has a few GBs of free space, so I should be good (hopefully it runs good). If I really need the space, I could always download it on my iPhone SE which is 64 GB. Yeah, this really isn't a problem for me, but I could see it being for some.
  18. This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured content: Nintendo Mobile Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends Event – To prepare for the launch of the Fire Emblem Heroes game on Feb. 2, Nintendo has kicked off the Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends event. The global community’s top-ranked hero and heroine will then be featured in Fire Emblem Heroes as Choose Your Legends event characters. 19. IIRC, this has been out for a while in JPN as Pokémon Comaster and is just that failed Pokémon Trading Figure Game revived as a mobile game. IDK, this looks like it could be pretty fun if you like strategy games and PKMN.
  20. Edit: There seem to be some confusion about how this event actually works. You aren't voting for "what characters to put in the game", you're voting on what characters will have secondary versions with special outfits in the future, and a larger selection will be featured on some free wallpaper. That said, they could still use the votes to help gauge character popularity, so by all means vote how you want! I know I made the right choice for my day 1 pick. Who did you choose so far?
  21. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links brings the beloved card game to your smart device! From the game's product page: The game is free to play and is available now on Android and iOS in North America. As someone who played the game a lot in the closed beta, I can say that it's really enjoyable. I highly recommend trying it out even if you're new, as Duel Links is very beginner friendly. Is anyone else giving this a go? Hopefully I'm not the only one enjoying this release.
