The Kingdom Hearts World Tour Orchestra Encore started in LA last night and director Tetsuya Nomura announced at the end of the orchestra that 01/29/2019 is release in the west and the to the east they get it 4 days earlier on 01/25/2019. He apologizes by saying they need a little more time than they planned originally for 2018 but there will be more information and trailers at E3. That's all nice and all but with the KHIII premier event last month, I really thought the game would come out this year. I guess there's more to work on the game than I thought, I assume there wouldn't be push or delay the game. I just want to know the reason for the push. Though, this seems awfully familiar when they pushed FFXV from Sept to Nov, I hope it's reason like that because this game appears to be almost done so I just want answers on the push. Oh yeah before the date was announced there was a English trailer of cutscences from KHIII, I heard it was great but there's no video up of it on Square or KH YouTube channel. This must be one of the trailers Nomura spoke we are to see at E3. I'll post it here when it's up. Did anyone see this push/delay happening or you're just as shocked as me?
The Krazy One posted a topic in General NintendoSaw these two GoNintendo articles coming from Square Enix's CEO, Yosuke Matsuda about the Switch. Source: http://gonintendo.com/stories/277462-square-enix-considering-what-games-to-port-to-switch and Source: http://gonintendo.com/stories/277465-square-enix-hoping-for-switch-success-planning-new-titles-compa It's good that the Switch currently has their attention with games such as "I Am Setsuna, the two Dragon Quest games, the Secret of Mana collection and Octopath Traveler." I wonder what other games they could be thinking of bringing over. The comments for both stories brought up some pretty good points like the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3. A good one would be those Kingdom Hearts collections that include every game up to 3. Maybe Dragon Quest X could make a comeback. Maybe they could localize Seiken Densetsu 3 for the Mana collection for the rest of the world. What do you guys think? Edit: Update with the entire comment from Matsuda.
