  1. đź”—https://themixgames.com/games/rugrats This looks great, especially the HD mode, which looks like an actual episode of the cartoon! Also, it's really cool that this will also be releasing on an actual NES cartridge. The only Rugrats game I own is Rugrats The Movie on GBC (Though I have rented 1 or 2 others), which I got around when the first movie came out. I know most of the Rugrats game from back-in-the-day weren't that great, but this looks like something I might have to pick-up (no sure about getting it on NES or not). I love these babies so much! <3 I'll never forget watching the first episode when Rugrats premiered and seeing the first movie in theaters as a kid. Rugrats has always been my favioret Nicktoon, though I do think that Hey Arnold! was the best. Now, don't get me started on that hot garbage that is the new Rugrats on P+ (I've mentioned before how bad it is during our Mario Kart nights). T_T
  2. I've played the demo on PS4. I didn't even know this was coming to PS4/PS5, thought this was XBOX one and Series exclusive. Anyways, there's two protagonists you can plays as; a boy who wields a sword and use psychokinesis and a girl who wields short range daggers and also use psychokensis. I played as the boy first and as awesome it is to pull off moves, something felt off. Once I was done with his portion I went to the girl and everything just clicked. I don't have anything against ranged weapons in 3rd person games but I tend to lean to hand to hand combat whether that is with fists or a blunt object. At least for me and how the gameplay is with psychokensis, range weapons is a better fit for me in actually liking this game more. What's also funny is that the boy has more interesting abilities than the girl with psychokensis. I think the reason for that is the boy is a rookie on the scene while the girl is more a veteran on the scene. So depending on your playstyle and preference of weapon, you have a choice. As for playing as both, I don't think you can alternate these characters nor do I think there's section you play as either. Maybe similar but not exactly like the twin protagonists in Astral Chain, where if you play as one sibling the other will accompany you in some missions. This game plays nothing like Astral Chain but the feel and atmosphere of the world is similar. If you like the look, the gameplay and the feel of the world, I'd say it is worth playing the demo to see for yourself. Game comes out June 25th on PS4/PS5, XBOX one/ Series and PC
  3. Site: http://luminesremastered.com Platforms: Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam) Release Date: June 26th Price: $14.99 The critically-acclaimed puzzle game produced by legendary creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi is back! LUMINES REMASTERED is an HD remaster of the original Lumines that debuted on the PlayStation Portable in 2004. Quickly earning the top-rated PSP spot, it grew into a franchise on other platforms and selling over 2.5 million units worldwide. Relive the memories on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam (in 4K) and for the first time on a Nintendo console! LUMINES REMASTERED beautifully marries the elements of sound, light and puzzle-action into one addictive, yet easy-to-play game. You’re at the center of the high-energy, block-dropping action while you groove to awesome house, trance and techno beats! Feel the sound: Play over 40 skins with electronic atmospheres from chill to upbeat. Shuffle skins (like a music playlist) as more are unlocked in a new Shuffle mode. Feel the rhythm: Feel the rhythm and blocks dropping from the dynamic HD Rumble of the Joy-ConTM, DualShock®4, Xbox One controllers. Choose to feel both rhythm and blocks or just the blocks. Feel the vibration: Turn on Trance Vibration and sync multiple controllers to feel the bass across your body. Feel the challenge: Faster tempos means less time to make combos, but slower songs can mean uncleared stacks. You’ll get hooked. Feel the fun: Take the challenge to unlock all skins and avatars, play against friends in VS 2-player mode, or climb the ranks to the top of the online leaderboards. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Challenge: The basic game mode in LUMINES REMASTERED. Skin Edit: You can select 10 of your favorite skins and play a single lap. Time Attack: Clear as many blocks as possible in 60, 180, and 300 seconds! Puzzle: Create images (dog, cat, etc.) using one color of the blocks and surrounding it with the other. Mission: Clear some tricky missions within a given time limit. VS CPU: Challenge yourself to an AI opponent! Squeeze them out of their grid to win! 2P Battle: Play against a friend and see who's the block-dropping champ! Anyone looking forward to this? There seems to be quite a lot of excitement for this, especially the Switch version (Seems Enhance Games is really pushing the Switch version over the others). While I've never played LUMINES, I've been wanting to give it a shot for quite a while. I'm a love trippy/chill puzzles games like Nintendo's Art Style series and this looks to be quite the experience. I've heard that people have really loved the series in the past and especially its music. It's nice to see the series finally hitting a Nintendo system with the Switch, so I can finally give it a shot.
  4. The developer behind Runbow has just announced a new title slated for release this summer on Switch and Steam. Double Cross is a similarly cartoonish platformer, but instead of the fast-paced micro-levels of Runbow this game features a variety of gameplay styles and upgrades spread across multiple dimensions. For more details watch the trailer above and check out the press release below.
  5. This is a thread to discuss 100% Orange Juice, an online board game starring terrorists, seagulls, dog girls, female santa, and sentient flying fortresses. The game originally released in 1941 as an instrument of torture, but was retired in favor of genocide for being "too cruel." It was localized and released in English as a joke in 2014, but because the game industry had declined so greatly by that point, audiences misinterpreted it as a standard multiplayer experience. The object of the game is to beat up innocent lolis and homosexuals and make all of your friends hate you while ultimately losing to an AI-controlled demon known only as Marie Poppo. At time of writing, the game is currently on version 1.13.5 and a double experience event is active. Recent patches have primarily been to enable compatibility with other languages -- officially Japanese, as well as others through fan-translations such as Spanish. Additionally, the following features are confirmed (or extremely likely) to show up at some point in the near future: Another DLC pack, confirmed to be a new Card Pack with cards that feature Nath and Niko. Hypers and rebalancing for the Enemy characters (that is: Seagull, Chicken, Roboball, Store Manager, Shifu Robot, and Flying Castle.) You can see the winning Hyper artwork in this post. A level editor has been teased for a long time and is confirmed to be somewhat feasible, but may not be public for a while because they would like it to be more user-friendly than it is now. A new trailer, considering that the old one no longer resembles any aspect of the modern game. "A ton of exciting news for the coming winter, including some ideas that will likely surprise everyone." Discuss. Discussion of other Orange Juice games, such as 200% Mixed Juice, Sora, Acceleration of Suguri, and QP Shooting, is also welcome and encouraged.
  6. The most super general question ever. Do you prefer playing on PC, Console, or on a Handheld device? (Smartphones count for handheld so not just 3DS or Vita) if so... Why?
  7. http://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-exclusive-scalebound-has-been-canceled Really is a shame. While Scalebound hasn't exactly demoed the best during the past few years, it was always intriguing and looked interesting to me, even moreso since it was a Platinum games creation. Fingers crossed that a game of such being cancelled doesn't set Platinum back too much. And like Yuki posted below, Kamiya has taken time off due to mental health reasons; hoping for a swift and healthy recovery from him.
  8. https://steamdb.info/sub/13578/apps/ One of them is surely Senran Kagura Bon Appétit, but what could be the other four?
  9. The cult classic series Zero Escape will be seeing a new release Spring 2017 with Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, a compilation of the first two games in the series on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Steam. The two games, originally released as 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for Nintendo DS and iOS, and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward for Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita, have been remastered for the new platforms and look better than ever before. Zero Time Dilemma, the third and final entry in the series, is already available on Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, and Steam.
  10. http://www.dualshockers.com/2016/10/21/xseed-games-brings-senran-kagura-bon-appetit-full-course-pc/ Comes with all the DLC from the PlayStation Vita version. Presumably the "Full Course" in the title means it'll be a holistic release, unlike the original game where it was released in two halves.
  11. https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/ubi30 You can get Beyond Good & Evil for free until next month through Club Ubi and uPlay, it's not the HD version though. If anyone wants help in getting the game to run through Steam instead of the awful uPlay, let me know.
  12. Asking for a friend. Recently, Gurumin 3D released on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS in North America. It's my understanding that this is a new version of the game that was previously released on Steam and PSP? Has anyone here played any iteration of the game? How is it? Is Gurumin 3D worth the asking price of $15?
  13. Other controllers to follow, but in the future, Steam will be getting native support in games for controllers other than their own Steam Controller, starting with the DualShock 4. No more DS4Windows!
  14. Fall 2016 release! I believe it's a port of the PlayStation 4/Xbox One game.
