  1. Okay, so maybe two years ago (I don't remember exactly when) I bought a Pokemon Gold and started a Nuzlocke challenge. Instead of posting daily about my exploits (as everybody was at the time) I kept a journal of every Pokemon I caught, when they evolves, and when they died. I was going to post it at the very end after I had beaten Red but after months of being on hiatus, because of school, I started my game up again. I had been grinding for moths trying to get my Pokemon high enough. When I booted it up again recently all of them were in their 70s, so I levelled them up a bit then my gba was glowing red so I saved, turned off, and charged it. When I came back the save file was corrupted. Now I don't know if I maybe turned off when it was saving or the internal battery just chose to die at that time, but all of them are gone. What really sucks is before my hiatus I caught two shiny Ursaring and I was idiot and didn't send one to my Stadium 2 or Crystal so both of them were loss. If anybody knows how to fix this let me know, but everything I've read and heard for the last 18 years is that it's impossible to recover save data once it's corrupted, so I'm pretty sure my run here is dead. I'll probably restart the game and if I still can't save, I'll replace the battery. I don't know if I'll do another nuzlocke on Gold. I've been meaning to do a soulsilver nuzlocke after I was done this one so I'll probably end up doing that. I guess I'll just post my journal here now, see if you guys find it interesting at all.
