This is an old topic I made before Christmas last year about the holiday sales going on. Since all of those ended and more popped up as a New Years sale, just decided to keep this one up for now. I'll probably use this topic until the end of the month and then just let it die. As far as I know, these all end on the 16th-17th depending on your timezone. These are all North American sales! I won't include DLC this time around since this takes me forever to cover. I'll update the rest later. These lists are too long and I started this an hour ago. What's your favorite Holiday movie, TV special, or cartoon? I'd go with A Christmas Story, Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, one of the classic stop-motion movies, ect., but I'm going to go with something a bit obscure... When I was little I had this video tape that had a bunch of old Xmas cartoons on it, that I'd watch every year. I'll never forget this one cartoon because of how racist it would be considered today give its depictions of the kids from all over the world. If you wan't to see that CLICK HERE! Anyway...There was one cartoon on that tape, which was the reason I watched it every year called Christmas Comes but Once a Year. ...Man, the feels on this cartoon. It breaks your heart and then gives you this super warm fuzzing feeling, which totally brings out the spirit of the Holidays. So basically, this cartoon is about these kids in an orphanage who get these cheaply made toys for Xmas that just fall apart (most likely, because the orphanage couldn't afford decent toys) and this nice old man passing by hears them all crying and and puts back that Xmas joy on the kids faces. The part that really gets me is, when that little girl is so happy that she got a teddy bear from Santa and then is heartbroken when it falls a part because of how cheaply made it was. T_T I'm probably reading waaaaay to into this, but who the hell leaves kids all alone on Xmas, especially in an orphanage? ...And they just let some random old man just walk right in? I know it's different times, but still. BTW, I want to point out, that this cartoon has some pretty impressive 3D effects for the time.
