  1. Animal Crossing is a series of idyllic life-simulators published by Nintendo. Originating in 2001 with a primitive Nintendo 64 version of a game we later received as Animal Crossing for Gamecube, the series went on to become one of Nintendo's best-selling new franchises -- even obtaining keys positions within Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros., among other games.   2. Underrated game on the GameCube, in my opinion. I really like how unique it was at the time, what with Luigi going through a haunted mansion to save Mario. I've not played Dark Moon on the 3DS so I'm not sure how that compares, but I've heard that's pretty good too.
