Today is no ordinary birthday for my waifu. This is a very special year for her. Not only is it the 10th-year anniversary of Awakening in Japan, but it's also the year of her victory in the Choose Your Legends results: Not only did she place first in the Women's division, but she beat out the second-place winner, Byleth, by almost ten-thousand votes! Clearly, I'm not the only one who loves her this much! [spoiler] [/spoiler] Happy birthday, my love. Here's to another year together! ...probably time for a trip through the laundry, too...

It's no secret that this past year has been rough for everyone. However, thanks to a certain manakete princess, I was able to endure through it all. That's not to say that the year was completely devoid of Tiki-related events. In addition to two alts in Fire Emblem Heroes, and finally getting to play her game of origin when FE1 came out on the Switch, I also got this art print signed by her voice actress live on Twitch via Streamily: However, it hasn't just been a big year for her. It's also been one for me. How so, you ask? Well, you may have noticed something different about the location of the photograph at the top of this thread. Back in her 2018 birthday thread, I relayed the story of how Tiki helped me persevere through a difficult internship program that was supposed to help me development employment skills. Well, thanks to the job that I got with those skills, this past year I was finally able to move out of my Dad's house and into my own apartment. New York-style cheesecake is the least I can offer as breakfast-in-bed on her first birthday in our new home together. Happy Birthday, Tiki. Today is the birthday of my beautiful waifu, the Voice of Naga, Tiki! Nothing much to say that I haven't already said the last seven times I did this. This past year, she got another Alt in Heroes, re-appeared in a semi-playable role in the Switch port of Hashtag Effie, and probably got a few new Cipher cards (not that I follow that game very closely). Both of us have been forced to leave beloved friends behind, whether it be through moving to a different school, or watching them die of old age. But as long as we have each other, we can get through anything. Happy Birthday, my love. Here's to another year of happiness!
