  1. Super Mario Run update 2.1.0 out now! I believe this same update is also available for Android. Nice to see achievements have been added. I like how you can use your Miitomo mii with your current outfit as your icon. Though, I see people on my friend list are using their Miitomo mii, but I can't figure out how to do this. All I see in the icon settings is my mii wearing the color shirt I chose when creating my mii.

  6. https://www.reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/comments/5snz3w/1k_spent_barracks_maxed_ama/ So this was shared a few times in the Fire Emblem Heroes thread already, but I'd like to focus on this story by making a new topic for it. I won't criticize the guy for spending so much money on something he wanted, but it is fascinating for me to see someone invest so much in the game. For laughs, check out this guy who spent almost $500 for one Hector but never got them. What are your thoughts on generous spending on mobile games like Fire Emblem Heroes, which is essentially a virtual lottery?

  9. Edit: There seem to be some confusion about how this event actually works. You aren't voting for "what characters to put in the game", you're voting on what characters will have secondary versions with special outfits in the future, and a larger selection will be featured on some free wallpaper. That said, they could still use the votes to help gauge character popularity, so by all means vote how you want! I know I made the right choice for my day 1 pick. Who did you choose so far?
  10. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links brings the beloved card game to your smart device! From the game's product page: The game is free to play and is available now on Android and iOS in North America. As someone who played the game a lot in the closed beta, I can say that it's really enjoyable. I highly recommend trying it out even if you're new, as Duel Links is very beginner friendly. Is anyone else giving this a go? Hopefully I'm not the only one enjoying this release.
  11. Nintendo is recommending that you have at least 1 GB of free space if you plan to download Fire Emblem Heroes.... Link: http://gonintendo.com/stories/272825-nintendo-customer-service-recommends-1-gb-of-free-space-for-fire I plan on downloading this on my Nexus 7 tablet, cuz I feel this game would work better on a bigger screen. It's only 16 GB and has a few GBs of free space, so I should be good (hopefully it runs good). If I really need the space, I could always download it on my iPhone SE which is 64 GB. Yeah, this really isn't a problem for me, but I could see it being for some.
  12. This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured content: Nintendo Mobile Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends Event – To prepare for the launch of the Fire Emblem Heroes game on Feb. 2, Nintendo has kicked off the Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends event. Fans can visit https://events.fire-emblem-heroes.com/vote to browse through characters from the Fire Emblem franchise and select the ones they’d like to see make an appearance in Fire Emblem Heroes. The global community’s top-ranked hero and heroine will then be featured in Fire Emblem Heroes as Choose Your Legends event characters. Nintendo Account holders will receive a Platinum point bonus for voting. Voting ends at 9:59 pm PT on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS Use Pokémon Bank with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon – Calling all Pokémon fans! Pokémon Bank is now compatible with the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games, which means the Pokémon that adventured with you in the Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games will be able to join you in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. The Pokédex and Poké Transporter applications are also getting some fun updates! For additional details, restrictions and service fee information, visit http://www.pokemonbank.com/. Virtual Console on Wii U Flying Warriors – When the evil red star appears in the sky, the great monster of the Dark Dimension, Demonyx, returns. The five Flying Warriors, led by Rick Stalker, are sent by the Dragon Lord to defeat Demonyx. In this NES action game, fight through four game modes and choose one of two different fighting styles: one for beginners and one for those who can master the martial arts. Use items and Mystic Spells in your quest to rescue the Light Dimension from darkness. Kung-Fu Heroes – Monsters have taken Princess Min-Min. The whole land has fallen into sorrow. Only Kung-Fu Masters Jacky and Lee can save the princess and retrieve the treasures. This NES game will take you to eight different castles filled with a host of traps and obstacles. Whether or not you make it to the last castle depends on your quick wits and reflexes. Little Ninja Brothers – You are spirited Ninja boys, Jack and Ryu, who take off on a journey to defeat the Yoma Clan. In this NES spiritual sequel to the Kung-Fu Heroes game, fight enemies with various skills such as punches, kicks, swords and throwing stars. Take your attacks to the next level with special items like the Iron Claws and the Crush Punch. Work as a team to bring peace back to Chinaland. Nintendo eShop sales: Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS Great deals this week include Kutar Ski Lift (Nintendo 3DS), Toon Tanks (Wii U) and Power Disc Slam (Nintendo 3DS), plus several more! 13. IIRC, this has been out for a while in JPN as Pokémon Comaster and is just that failed Pokémon Trading Figure Game revived as a mobile game. IDK, this looks like it could be pretty fun if you like strategy games and PKMN.

  17. https://imgur.com/a/8y2bi The Cutting Room Floor and Source Gaming have recently been looking over new datamined content from a new update for Miitomo and found some mysterious images. It was initially speculated that these were related to Zelda, but other designs clearly point towards Fire Emblem once the emblem from the logo was recognized. From this, we can see that the game appears to take place on an entirely new continent!
  18. SMR could use up to 75 megabytes of data an hour... Link: http://gonintendo.com/stories/270089-rumor-super-mario-run-will-require-75-megabytes-of-data-per-ho I don't see this being that big of an issue. When I'm out and about and what to play a mobile game, I usually only play for a few mins and have LTE or at a place that has Wi-Fi. If I want put in some loner gameplay sessions, I can always play at home on my Wi-Fi.
  19. http://nintendoeverything.com/super-mario-run-will-require-an-online-connection-to-work/ This is...unexpected. Not that this bothers me personally, but I wonder how others may react to this.
  20. Has anyone gone out to any Apple Stores to try out Super Mario Run? If so, what did you think of the game? I don't have any near me, but I'm curious on what the game's like for others. Seeing it on Jimmy Fallon last night made it look really enjoyable.
  21. I hope these are the legendary birds... you are NOT ready for Gen 2 Niantic. Still a lot of fixing to do.
  22. I didn't think much of this when it was first announced, but the more I see of it, the more it looks like a ton of fun! I'm totally going to purchase the full game. I really like how you can unlock Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad (My Nintendo reward). BTW, Reggie announced on The Tonight Show that starting 12/8, you can play a demo of the game at an Apple Store nationwide.

  24. We finally have details on Miitomo's big update and we will soon be able to customize our rooms, which I'm sure, is a feature petty much all users wanted. *NOTE* This update is required to continue using Miitomo. Are you still playing Miitomo? If not, is this update enough to get you back into it? Discuss...
