  1. Pokémon TV, an app/website that let you watch episodes (even movies at times) of the PKMN anime, PKMN specials, and PKMN competitive videos all for FREE will be shutting down on March 28th. While app is now longer available to download on Switch, mobile, and smart TVs, if you already have the app downloaded you can continue to use it until it shuts down (Odd that they make the announcement of the service ending in March and immediately remove the app). *See Tweet (X post) below* TPC has provided a list to all the places where you can watch PKMN: It's sad to see this go. I really wonder why it's being shutdown...? Is it because usage has dropped or with streaming being as big as it is now, they feel they can make more $ licensing PKMN to these different streaming services, or both? I really liked having one place for all the PKMN anime, even though they regularly cycled in and out content. ...And best part it was FREE! I used this quite a bit to re-watch season 1 of the anime and PKMN Origins on my Switch (portably) and TV (via a Chomecast with Google TV). Now the PKMN anime is scattered throughout all these different streaming services, with some being free others being paid.
  2. Release Date: Late July 20203 Platform: iOS / Android Price: FREE (in-app purchases) Site: https://www.pokemonsleep.net/en/ Release Date: July 14, 20203 Price: $54.99 Compatibility: Pokémon Sleep / Pokémon GO Site: https://www.pokemongoplusplus.com/en/ ---------------------------------------------------- Is anyone going to download this when it comes out? I don't really need a sleep tracker, though I am interested to see how they incorporate catching/collecting PKMN into a sleep tracker app.
  3. Site: https://pikminbloom.com/ Support Community: https://community.pikminbloom.com/ Platform: iOS and Android Price: Free (In-app Purchases) Trailers: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pikmin Bloom (From the devs of Pokémon GO) has started rolling out in Australia and Singapore and is supposed to come to other countries soon. This looks pretty neat and I love how it uses your mii. I'll probably check this out, but IDK how much I'll play it, since I already play PKMN GO. I feel it'd be a bit hard to play both while out and about.
  4. Pokémon GO creator Niantic and Nintendo are teaming up once again to bring a new Pikmin themed real world AR app, coming later this year... Hmmm... I'm not sure what they could do with turning Pikmin into a Pokémon GO style game. I love Pokémon GO, so I'm definitely interested in hearing are more about this. Though, I'm not sure if I'd actually play something like this, because I already play Pokémon GO and it world be hard to try and play both when going out and about. I wouldn't want to have to choose one over the other, so would be cool if these games would link up in some way, thus making it not has hard to play both while out and about.

All the action in Pokémon Café Mix unfolds in a playful art style that brings out the cuteness of your Pokémon pals and patrons. It’s time to become a café owner, solve puzzles, and bring joy to Pokémon patrons! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Is anyone going to download this? I really like the art style, but I'm not sold on the gameplay with that stirring mechanic. It seems like there's not much strategie and that it's mostly just dumb luck. Also, it sucks you can only play in handheld mode. I'll give it a try when it comes out, because I absolutely loved PKMN Shuffle on the 3DS and was hoping it would get ported or a sequel would come to Switch. Here's hoping Café Mix is just as good!
  6. Screens / Battle gameplay: I assume this will release worldwide? Nice to see another real world AR game like PKMN GO announced. I'm not really into DQ, so I'll pass, but I'm am interested to see how the IP will translate to a real world AR game. First PKMN GO, then the upcoming Harry Potter Wizards unite, and now DQ Walk. Dang! If real world AR games really start to take off, you're gonna have to start picking and choosing which one your're going to play when going out. It'd be pretty hard to play more than on at the same time. ...Unless you have multiple devices.
  7. PKMN Home: I take it this is the next evolution of PKMN Bank on 3DS? PKMN Sleep: So, is this what became of Nintendo's QoL project? I remember hearing they were working on a sleep device. Interesting that this will device will also have GO + functionality. *My thoughts on the actual device HERE <-- Detective Pikachu (Switch): Nice to see an new Detec. Pika game coming to Switch. I wonder if this will be more in-line with the recent movie than the 3DS game?

Was anyone looking forward to this? ...I know this game was brought up recently during out Mario Kart nights. I'm really interested to what they do with this, because it could be a fun mini Mario Kart to play when all you have with you is your phone. I still check-in on Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp every now and then. It's a fun mini AC to have while waiting for AC Switch.
  10. This video literately tells us noting about the game, unlike with the PKMN GO announcement trailer where it showed what we could expect from the game. This sounds like it could be pretty cool, but I'm not that into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, though I do like the books/movies. Not sure how much Niantic is involved with the development of they game, but I think they are just licensing out their AR map engine they created of Ingress and PKMN GO.
  11. Coming from Nintendo's recent finical briefing... They are currently working on an update for AC: Pocket Camp to "broaden the scope of gameplay". Anyone here still play AC: Pocket Camp? I check in every once in a while for a minuet or two. I've recently been collecting Splatoon and Pokemon items. It's nice to see that they're adding more to the gameplay, because I felt they took most of the Animal Crossing out of Animal Crossing with Pocket Camp (basically a very lite ver. of AC). Though, I still like collecting items and decorating my campsite. I really hope this update makes the game really worth playing, because when they announced AC for mobile, they said it would connect with future AC games and we know AC is coming to the Switch in 2019, so...
  12. Chinese mobile device manufacturer, Huawei, is marketing their new Mate 20 X as a Switch competitor... I guess everyone one wants a pace of the Switch pie. Unless they can get 3rd parties on board to release games of the quality of the ones on Switch, then I don't see this doing much. Plus, it's 3x the price of a Switch!!! EDIT: Wait! This thing really only has one controller? WUT?! o_O
  13. I'd be down for Nintendo releasing GB games on mobile, especially if I don't have to play with virtual buttons/d-pad. Though, from looking at the patent, it looks like it only supports standard sized phones. I have an iPhone SE, so if they ever release this, I wouldn't be able to use it. Plus, I have a LifeProof case on my phone. So, even if it did fit my phone, I'd have to constantly be taking it out, which is kind of a pain.
  14. Site: https://dragalialost.com/en/ Release Date: September 27th Price: Free (In-app purchases) Hmmm...Not sure about this one. I mean, it looks like it could be fun, but it seems like generic mobile RPG. I might give it a try when it launches.
  15. Site: https://pokemonquest.pokemon.com/en-us/ Platforms: Nintendo Switch (Avail. Now) | iOS/Android (Coming late June) Price: Free (In-app purchases & DLC) Trailer References Move List (Credit: u/billabong2121) Cooking Recipes List (possible spoilers): Did anyone download this yet? I decided to check this out since it was free and I find it pretty fun for a F2P game. I never really cared for the PKMN Rumble series, but I'm really enjoying PKMN Quest. One thing kinda don't like is how much this was designed around touch controls, especially since your PKMN will automatically move towards enemies. I know there are joy-con controls, but it seems like putting this on Switch was an after thought (I would have liked traditional button controls, especially in the menus). One thing I really like is the the cube-y art style. I find it more appealing then the art style in the Rumble series. I'm not sure how long this will hold my interest, but if it's anything like Nintendo's past F2P games (PKMN Shuffle for example), I may play for quite a bit. Nintendo has always been good with F2P games and not making you feel like you have to pay. Here's my current team:
  16. I'm sure most people don't use Miitomo anymore, but it will be shutting down on May 9th. I still use it every now and then and I hate to see it go, but I guess people really aren't using it any more. I really liked the Miifoto feature and how you could get different outfits for your mii, especially all the Nintendo themed ones. I hope the outfits comeback in some form on the Switch. I have my mii as my profile icon on Switch and I'd love if I could use all the outfits I collected in Miitomo on my mii. I know they let you use your Miitomo mii on your Nintendo Account, which shows up with the current outfit, on the My Nintendo website and other apps.Though, given how they will no longer show up on your Nintendo Account once the app is shutdown and how miis are buried in the settings app on Switch, it seems Nintendo wants to slowly get rid of miis.
  17. Niantic, the devolper of PKMN GO has announced a new real-world AR game themed around the wizarding world of Harry Potter... Makes me wonder if this is just going to be a reskined PKMN GO or something new and interesting? 🤔 I mean, PKMN GO works as a real-world game, because of the IP. Though, I guess Harry Potter could work, if you think about it. I just hope this doesn't take away from PKMN GO.

  19. Nice to see an new mode coming to SMR. I enjoyed SMR for what it was, but still haven't bought the full game for some reason. I might actually get the full game since it's 50% off. Personally, I think the game should have been $5 to start with, though I have no issues paying $10 for. EDIT: More info...

The game is free to play and available now. http://www.vg247.com/2017/05/25/pokemon-magikarp-jump-is-out-now-on-android-and-ios/
  22. WSJ is reporting this to be true. I could see this happening considering how big the brand is.
  23. Super Mario Run update 2.1.0 out now! I believe this same update is also available for Android. Nice to see achievements have been added. I like how you can use your Miitomo mii with your current outfit as your icon. Though, I see people on my friend list are using their Miitomo mii, but I can't figure out how to do this. All I see in the icon settings is my mii wearing the color shirt I chose when creating my mii.
