  1. Which is it and why is it Alolan Vulpix?
  2. It's price is typically $2 but for a limited time you can get it for free. The set includes 4 stationary and one shimmering silver pen. Swapdoodle and it's IAPs are small downloads, so if you think you might enjoy sending and getting notes with friends it's worth taking a few minutes to get extra goodies while they're there to grab. I'm pretty bummed they killed Swapnote so that they could re-release it with microtransactions, but at least we can send notes to friends again. Guess this is what we have to work with now.
  3. Well it seems that the bans have begun for the people that pirated the game and I don't feel the least bit sorry for them. I will however feel sorry for the one that somehow got an early legit copy. I remember when I was super lucky in getting both Black and White from BJs one week early.
  4. Tired of wasting time checking doors? Save the effort, most small doors you can enter have a welcome mat. Early game and want to stock up on cheap healing items? Head to the vending machine in the Game Freak office on Island 2, after you beat the first trial of the island. Fresh Waters there are 150 Pokedollars, which is a pretty significant discount. (This may discount may extend as more drinks become available through progress.) What are some tips you have found from playing so far?
  5. The general pre-battle theme is one of the best for the franchise. Honestly most of the music shines, and Gladion's battle theme amazing. X3 What have been your favorite themes so far?
  6. Looking to be among the first to get your hands on the digital version Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS? Nintendo just put the game up for pre-load now on the Nintendo eShop in North America, and sources say you'll need around 2,909 blocks in order to download it (based on the Japanese version), which is pretty small compared to the original Wii U game. The game is out in North America and Europe on December 2. In the meantime, you can check out a new trailer for the game to learn more about it here.
  7. Need to know what's new in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS? Nintendo just released this overview trailer detailing the game. Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS releases for Nintendo 3DS on December 2.
  8. Discover Z-Moves and unleash these intense attacks in battle. Who are you going to choose as your partner Pokémon: Rowlet, Litten or Popplio? The Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games will be available on Nov. 18. Until then, don’t forget you can download the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Special Demo Version and meet the Pokémon that can be found in the full versions of the games. Ash-Greninja, the Pokémon that appears alongside Ash in the animated TV series Pokémon the Series: XYZ, will also appear as a member of your team and can be transferred to the full version of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon once purchased when the games launch Nov. 18. Swapdoodle – The Swapdoodle game is an easy way to write messages, draw 3D pictures and share them with your Nintendo 3DS friends. Swapping doodles is a snap thanks to stamps based on the icons of played games and your Mii character. You can also purchase in-game add-on packs that have doodle lessons of Nintendo characters! Wii Retail on Wii U Wario Land: Shake It – Wario returns to form, with all the jumping, power-dashing and butt-stomping we’ve come to expect. With the Wii Remote controller turned sideways, veterans and newcomers alike can run, jump and smash their way through hectic side-scrolling stages. Purchase and download this vibrant Wii console platformer on the Wii U console today! Virtual Console on Wii U Excitebike 64 – Grind your way through the extreme sport of motocross and attempt more than a dozen outrageous tricks, such as heel clickers, cliffhangers and bar hops. 10. Well looks like we've got another reveal trailer before the game launches. Here's a link to the video (from GameXplain)
  11. Good news. You can now make your own designs for Yarn Yoshi in Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. https://twitter.com/NintendoEurope/status/796717076396277763/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw
  12. Volcanion is the 721st Pokémon -- and in sixth-generation games, it is the last one in the Pokédex. This mythical Fire/Water-type harnesses the power of steam or something. It's presumably going to appear in the upcoming? movie Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel but why are you watching anything pertaining to the anime at this point. The executives are literally laughing at you. Anyway, serial codes for it are scheduled to be distributed at Gamestop stores across the US beginning tomorrow, and will continue to be distributed until October 31st. Presumably it will be distributed at EBGames in Canada. These codes are unique and can only be redeemed once, so you will need to obtain one code for each sixth-generation game you plan on redeeming him in. This event is compatible with Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, X, and Y versions. The distributed Volcanion will be received at level 70, holds an Assault Vest, and knows Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Explosion, and the unique move Steam Eruption that's like Scald if it were even more ridiculous. If you live in Europe, you can obtain it right now at various retailers. You're on your own for that, though. While you're in Mystery Gift, also, don't forget to redeem Keldeo and Darkrai if you have not yet done so. Discuss Volcanion (and cry about Eternal Floette never ever being released.)
  13. Mobile site since I'm posting from my phone: http://m.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=11204051 The sale is for all video games but it runs to the 19th which means Pokemon Sun and Moon will fall under it. Those that plan on getting both games at retail should check any Toys R Us stores near you if you'd like to take advantage of getting the 2nd version for less..
  14. It's possible that Sun & Moon flat-out do not have a National Pokédex, or at least will not until the Bank update. And you know how good Game Freak is about patching their games for compatibility. Out of all of the baffling features Game Freak has ever removed, this is by far the most baffling. I can't even believe it. Discuss.
  15. Looking to pick up Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon digitally on the Nintendo eShop? You can now pre-load the games in North America, letting you download them ahead of the November 18 release date so that you can be ready to play when the games launch then. Not sure about block size, but you're going to need around 3.2GB to download either game.
  16. This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured content: Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS Harvest Moon: Skytree Village – Exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS system, this game lets players revive the land and save a village. It features new and easy farming mechanics, updated tools, terraforming and a new animal: the Poitou Donkey. Play as a boy or girl, interact with a new cast of characters, get married and start a family. Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS Mega Man X3 – After discovering a virus that is turning intelligent and peaceful robots known as Reploids into rogue Mavericks, scientist Dr. Doppler successfully creates an antivirus to the phenomenon. The reformed Reploids then move into Dopple Town, a place where humans and Reploids can live together in harmony. But when an outbreak occurs causing the Reploids to turn back into Mavericks, Maverick Hunters Mega Man X and Zero are sent to contain the situation. Choose either Mega Man X or Zero as you run, jump, dash, scale walls, avoid obstacles and fight enemies in eight challenging stages. At the end of each stage, defeat the boss to gain a special weapon that will aid you in the upcoming battles. Virtual Console on Wii U Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles – Swarms of undead creatures and mutated terrors rule the streets, pestilent hordes born of Umbrella's botched biowarfare research. Gather your firepower, choose various routes and pathways and prepare to face the horror as you uncover the dark truth that could take Umbrella down forever. Rhythm Heaven Fever – Perfect your rhythm with over 50 mini-games and remixes in this quirky, charming rhythm game. Catchy music and crazy scenarios will teach players to feel the beat. 17. I didn't see a topic about it so I thought I'd make one. Rhythm Heaven Fever and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles go up on the eshop for Wii download tomorrow (11/10) on Wii U. Mega Man X3 will go up on the eshop as well for the New 3DS Virtual Console. Rhythm Heaven Fever is tempting though I probably could get it at Walmart for cheaper. Bro owns both Chronicles games and I thought those were pretty cool. Played a bit of both with him. As for Mega Man, I'm more likely to get the games on console than on 3DS but that's just me.
  18. Just announced! This is a great RPG that more people should play.

  20. Been seeing this idea around lately and I thought I'd bring it over here. Hopefully there's enough interest. Do you have Fire Emblem Fates? If so, you can get involved with this one of a kind campaign: CorrinQuest! The idea is to have a host (yours truly) play through one of the routes of Fire Emblem Fates using only Avatars recruited through other players' (your) My Castles. Let's fix the terrible story of Fates and create our own! The main character of this campaign is a reincarnated Chrom. We'll be playing through Conquest on Hard Classic (with resets upon death). Xenologues (DLC maps) and other free forms of grinding are prohibited during the campaign. Everything else is free to access. To join our CorrinQuest, please provide and prepare your game with the following information: Your Castle Address (must be an easy seize castle, North America only) Your Avatar's... Name Base Class (must be around Level 10 in any non-promoted class, no permanent stat booster items used) Advanced Class (what class you want to promote to) Personal skill (have one and only one skill of your choice equipped, legal or otherwise) Anything else is anything goes. Other information isn't really required to share, but if you want to share your boon/bane, talent, or even a background story behind your character, feel free to do so. I'll stop by your castle to pick up your character and we'll get started once when we have a decent sized group to begin with. I'll try to provide regular updates on how we're progressing. Here goes nothing.
  21. Kind of weird to see. They went out of their way to make the amiibo compatible with the English version Animal Crossing despite no announcement of Monster Hunter Stories releasing. The first big hint, I'd say.
