  1. Been lazy with updates but here we go: Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4) Detroit: Become Human (PS4) Life is Strange: Before the Storm (PS4) Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (PS4) Akiba's Beat (PS4) Miracle Girls Festival (PSVita) Shining Resonance Refrain (PS4) Points: Console – 15 Handheld – 6 PC – 0 Mobile – 0 Overall – 21
  2. These updates have been a long time coming... L.A. Noire (PS4) Still as great as I remember. I wish they decided to make a sequel instead. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (PS4) The Fruit of Grisaia (Vita) The Labyrinth of Grisaia (Vita) Yakuza 5 (PS3) - I got to say this was a great Yakuza title. I feel they outdid themselves in this installment. Far Cry 5 (PS4) - I could never get too far in Far Cry games. I either got bored after the amazing prologue or something just turns me off. I'm not sure what FC5 does much differntly since never got that far in the previous titles but I enjoyed my time going through it all. The Eden of Grisaia (Vita) God of War (PS4) - Developers confused me with this title. I heard they called it a reboot but I guess they wanted a new audeince but they could have called this God of War 4. It is clearly a sequel to the oroginal trilogy. The gameplay did get a new breath of fresh air. The story was an interesting one with how they properly develop Kratos instead of just being an angry man he was in the originals. My favorite so far has to be I really enjoyed the whole Norse mythology. I can't wait if this is a start of a new trilogy. My Name is Mayo (Vita) VA-11 Hall-A (Vita) - I wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into when I started this game. It was a recommendation from my friend. I was amazed I got what I really like VN like style but in a bartender like setting. It felt good mixing drinks and hearing all the clients life stories. Also great even the main character even had their own problems to deal with along the way. Points: Console – 9 Handheld – 5 PC – 0 Mobile – 0 Overall – 14
  3. Plus all the docks were working fine with no problems till this update hit. I'm sorry something stinks. They must have added new security in that update.
  4. Valkyria Chronicles 4 Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux Code Vein Dragon Quest XI Not sure if its coming this year for the rest of the world but I believe a new Ace Attorney is coming so I'm putting that down just in case. Seeing how it wasn't a big gap for AA6 to come.
  5. To me you dodge a bullet with Valkyria Revolution. I feel the team should have kept the gameplay they had with the alpha instead of listening to fans and trying to merge with turn base that VC1-3 did. They nail the story and characters good but I felt I was playing a game that had no direction where it wanted to go in the gameplay department.
  6. The games translation is such a weird topic. Nothing I seen from the original really seem that bad. I feel like if they complain on that so bad why didn't know no one speak up from Aksys who did Tokyo Xanadu? I guess that's a conversation for another day, I suppose. Currently going through the Vita version and I might pick up the Switch version depending on how it turns out.
  7. A little late on these updates but here there are Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch) Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch) Lara Croft GO (PS4) Tokyo Xanadu eX+ (PS4) Points: Console – 4 Handheld – 0 PC – 0 Mobile – 0 Overall – 4
  8. Making this my edit post! Points: Console – 0 Handheld – 0 PC – 0 Mobile – 0 Overall – 0
  9. My last update of the year: Gravity Rush 2 (PS4) Call of Duty: WWII (PS4) Points: Console – 26 Handheld – 6 PC – 0 Mobile – 1 Overall – 33
  10. Pretty impressive its doing the same pace as PS4. I got mine at launch since Zelda and Bomber Man was enticing. I got to say Nintendo really did have a great first year so far. I haven't even pick up Pokken and Fire Emblem Warrirors yet and I still got Bayonetta to wrap up this year unless more stuff comes out before March.
  11. Great news. I kept thinking for a while that there is a lull of Action games. I can't think of any at all for this gen at all. I can only picture last gen with Wii U and Bayo 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3. I hope this is the trend of finally getting more of action games again. I'm not sure I'll play 1 again but you can count on I'll will try out 2 and 3.
  12. Haven't updated in a while: Blue Reflection (PS4) - Gust's attempt of branching out from their safe zone. I got to say they did a good job but I feel some of their choices they did were a little poor. Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online (PS4) - Next title for the Neptunia series. Instead of turn base they went action RPG route. I got to say it wasn't bad but compared to past titles a little on the short side and even way less on the enemy variety. Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) - I enjoyed my time with this and I'm not really that big on platformers. I'm not sure if I'll go for all the moons though. Ittle Dew 2 (Switch) - The Legend of Zeldew sounds about right. I got to say some of the puzzles were really good. Points: Console – 24 Handheld – 6 PC – 0 Mobile – 1 Overall – 31
  13. Tokyo Xanadu (Vita) - I was anticipating this game from Falcom for so long and I got to say it was pretty fun. It felt pretty much like Ys meets Trails of Cold Steel. Fast pace action but free time events which you can bond with your teammates. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony (PS4) - Finally the latest game has arrived and I got to say I enjoyed it. I got more to say but I'll keep it inside for now. Points: Console – 20 Handheld – 6 PC – 0 Mobile – 1 Overall – 27
  14. Kirby's Dream Land 3 Chrono Trigger Harvest Moon Final Fantasy IV Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Earthworm Jim Aladdin Illusion of Gaia Breath of Fire II
  15. Icey (PS4) - This was a fun action title. Kamiko (Switch) The Bunker (PS4) I really enjoyed this. It brought me back to the whole Sega CD era where the majority of the games I played where pretty much FMV story driven. I feel that genre really needs to come back somehow. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) - I actually beat this a while ago but I didn't count it before since I was playing on and off. I finish a 2nd run of it now and I got to say its very enjoyable. I got to give credit to Atlus when they want to experiment since I was thinking before this game how would them taking it SRPG work out. It works good very good.
