@Ithrak Utopia: You could do that but cloud backups happen automatically so it is not necessary to do that per se.
 
As, I mentioned a few posts up I just redownloaded my games and saves to my new TotK OLED Switch.
 
There's methods you can do, choose the one the suits you the best: (I went with first method one, as I have no use for my old Switch and wanna sell it anyways)

I forgot some of the steps, but do backups of all saves on old switch first. Then, when you get your oled up and put on your nnid..you can start downloading back to to that Switch. 

Good battles earlier! I'm glad I got a Switch OLED for my birthday, because my launch Switch overheated and had to use the OLED to continue playing. Hopefully, my save data for the game is good. I'm not sure how back the cloud saving goes yet.

I've never had this happen. I played for maybe 45 minutes when my Nintendo Switch put itself into sleep mode as the unit got too hot. It has been feeling hot whenever I play Metroid Prime Remastered too, but has yet to take me out of that game. I'll probably buy compressed air and shoot into the vent on top of the Switch. If that doesn't help, I might have to figure out how to open the system up and clean it that way if there's build up inside. I'm not all that interested in buying a replacement Switch at the moment, so hopefully all is good after a little extra care.

I did some cleaning around the vents, which gave me a 2 hour session later that evening, but my plan to replace the cooling fan failed when one of the screws was shredded. My birthday is coming up and my family is planning on getting me an OLED Switch, so I'll replace my launch model as my main with that. 1-2 hour sessions aren't that bad generally, but Tears of the Kingdom, like a Xenoblade game, is a game I would like to run longer sessions with.

I've been playing this game since after work and it's pretty awesome.  That's not the best part.  I totally had all intentions of just getting the amiibo and the standard edition and being good with it.  After all, I missed out on the preorder window for the collector's edition and surely none would be left for just walk-in buys.

Walked up in Target and requested the game and the clerk asked if I wanted the Collector's Edition or the standard?  Me, being a bit shocked, asked what was in the Collector's Edition.  I already knew what was in there, I just needed the extra time to process the good fortune I stumbled onto.  All that said, I got the Collector's Edition!! ^ _ ^

My store ended up getting CEs for Tears of the Kingdom and had some left to pre-order, so I secured a CE a day before the game's release. I'm going to buy some food before heading home tomorrow and pretty much try to be all in this weekend with the game.

Haven't seen Guardians 3 yet, but wanted to offer my thoughts on Star Wars Visions Season 2.  I love the fact that they tapped on a variety of different studios from around the world to tell stories because of how many cool ideas and backgrounds were introduced.  Some really striking episodes in that one but one of my favorites was The Bandits of Golak.  Love the primary characters in that one and the story was awesome with how great the integration of Desi people/culture was into that universe. "Sweets and plunder... Feast and wonder!"

Beyond the tutorial of the game, which is about an hour or so and is the worst start I've had with any game I've had anticipation for on the Switch...Pokemon Scarlet is turning out to be a great time in spite of its flaws in presentation. It remains great in core mechanics, character design and in Pokemon design, so while there's plenty I could be negative about I'm personally not having a negative experience overall. I consider it a great sign that I played until my Switch died while watching @TKrazyO's stream. Normally, I would cut my session with a game short and let my Switch charge docked for a bit, but Scarlet kept me hooked as I didn't want to put the game down once it opened up. If Nintendo does an end of year stats log like they did last year, I wouldn't be surprised if 11/19 or 11/20 is the day I played the Switch the most with Pokemon Scarlet being the main game.

I cannot believe there was such a difference between what you and I experienced on Singapore, @TKrazyO. That Green Shell that barely missed you, hit you on my end and I'm pretty sure you were in front of me from there to the line after you flipped over me carrying your momentum. When I saw you get the draft boost, neighbors could've heard me if they were outside. That session was getting under my skin before that, but that's when I think being annoyed became more anger with the game. Grumble Volcano finished the night for me. DK Summit would've cooled me off though, missed that one. One race too late.

It was nice to find out earlier that the Zyuranger sentai that Mighty Morphin was based on is on Tubi.
 
There was some sentai before Zyuranger in the 80’s that they tried to Americanize, but wasn’t really a success. In the 90’s though it was a big success. Can thank the dinosaur theme of Zyuranger/MMPR for that I guess.
 
The Once And Always trailer threw me for a surprise with Rita. Her VA’s still got it, along with Alpha Five’s. I guess it figures they would give some in-universe reason for Trini being gone because of her actress while still paying homage to her, but it’s going to be an emotional ride regardless.
 
I heard earlier that JDF turned down being in this before he passed away (by some that knew him), so will take what I can get with whoever this other green ranger is. Amy Jo Johnson did the same. Would’ve preferred Jason too, but a mix between the old (Zack and Billy) and new (Rocky and Kat) of Mighty Morphin is reasonable, considering. 

Pretty much from 8pm or 10pm Friday through Sunday night I'm going to be paying attention to WWE, but I'm willing to multitask during the Hall of Fame and play Friday evening. I'm going to be Team Aliens.
