With the series against Mute City in Detroit, the Savages have taken quite the liking to some of the unique Michigan fare none had even had before save for the local manager Fuzzer1 that is.
"These coney dogs are messy but delicious," Princess Daisy told reporters at Lafayette Coney Island earlier today. "Trying to pick it up with the chili, diced onions and mustard will guarantee a messy face once you take a bite," showing her face covered in chili sauce and mustard to the media and subsequently on social media.
"Some of us went to Lafayette and others went to American to have the coney dogs," Fuzzer1 said to reporters. "A lot of people are amazed we have these two coney island restaurants next to each other with the friendly "turf war" between the two stores founded by two Greek immigrant brothers decades ago."
Daisy also said that the American muscle cars can put the Mario Kart vehicles to shame in the horsepower department.
"Right now my boyfriend and I are in a Chevy Camaro and that thing is fast. Louder than any of the go karts I've raced in Mario Kart events over the years. And if you think I get loud driving go karts, you should hear me go crazy on the freeways in these bad boys."
All her boyfriend could do was chuckle at her comment but said that:
"A lot of the team had wanted to experience some of the Detroit culture we have so that means driving some great Detroit muscle, having good food, listening to Motown produced music, stuff like that. It's a part of who I am in this great state and I don't doubt that Surge is doing similar things with the Racers.
I mean this is my home right here. Great to be playing these games in the D."
