  3. Oh yeah I forgot he starts later. Hopefully he'll pave the way for good changes after he joins. In these uncertain times I'd rather GS have more elegant solutions to maintaining business while also not risking public health. Just staying open like nothing can't happen doesn't seem like the best way to handle big launches... Selling Doom Eternal early is a good move but I don't think that's all they can do.

  6. For consumers not really, but it's worth remembering that E3 is still a trade show and has been a venue for business and networking between members in the industry (particularly indies). Cancelling the event is a lost opportunity for more growth and connections which ultimately sucks. I think it's probably never returning to the glory days of yesteryear, but I think it can still have a place like other events like Game Developers Conference or Tokyo Game Show. Or at least I would feel more confident in that, if it didn't have that damning leak scandal from last year...

  9. Legendary Chrom gets his defensive buffs from Rouse Def/Res, not Oath. There's a lot of similar skills so it's understandable to mix those two up, Oath works differently and doesn't buff as effectively as Rouse. I've been enjoying using the new Chrom. When Close Counter isn't necessary, I like replacing it with a Solo skill.

  14. Eh, Feh Pass isn't appealing enough to me to get it but I personally don't find those changes to be a big deal (but yeah, I get that they're there to entice). Feh Pass includes a variety of features that add on to the game one way or another, and keeping them easy to miss or forget about wouldn't make sense. It's just a part of the game now, and its identity hasn't changed since it first came out. At least the UI adjustments are consistent with the menu's designs and easy on the eyes. That said, the auto-start feature being a paid benefit is silly and makes them look bad no matter how you cut it.
  15. I really like the LINE app for messaging but I can't get enough contacts to make it worth using.
  16. Not interested in it but the Animal Crossing Switch model looks immaculate.

  20. Mario Sunshine kinda came out forever ago so I like to imagine Nintendo will eventually remake it and try to improve it. Feels like the time is right for them to finally do that.
  21. Hopefully the system's indoctrination will loosen in like a decade or two, when wiser people should be around to better guide adolescents that they don't need to go to a post-secondary school, or at least make more informed life decisions after finishing high school. Same goes for other things like getting married or having kids.

  23. - Difficulty doesn't affect game content in any way except for how tough battles are, so feel free to change it as you please. - 100% completion involves repeated playthroughs, NG+ content, and obtuse tasks you will never think to do without a guide. So don't invest too much on the first run. - Savage enemies (the purple Mirage sirens) can easily cause you to lose a lot of unsaved progress if you're unprepared, so be mindful of that. I'm not sure how it works but I noticed on Wii U it doesn't consistently give you the tip about healing HP and EP, which tells you that you're supposed to use vending machines (like the one at the Fortuna Office) to heal yourself, which led me to do this dumb thing for a while where I would walk all the way back to the prologue dungeon to recover my EP because I wanted to reserve my items exclusively for use during battle, because over there is a spot you can just walk into to heal. I was flabbergasted to discover I could've just used the vending machines everywhere to save myself all that time. Don't make this mistake I made, and use those vending machines if you want to heal conveniently.
