This arcade by Sarah's house. 3 bucks to get in and all the games are free. Played some Crazy Taxi, Sunset Riders and Time Crisis And Metal Slug when I was a kid, oh yeah
-
Yeah, reinstalled the game completely, updated my drivers, ran with admin/compatibility. No idea what's up with it. L4D1 and 2 are the only games that borked for me. Even other source games run same as usual.

The first ten to fifteen minutes were strong for him, then he totally lost whatever train of thought he had. He kept getting baited into saying really stupid things while failing to hit her on the really obvious things and make them stick. Instead of talking about Clinton's e-mail scandal during the cybersecurity section he says this: "So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is -- it is a huge problem. I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable." Lester: "Stop and frisk was ruled unconstitutional in New York because it largely singled out black and hispanic young men..." Trump: "No, you're wrong. It went before a judge who was a very against police judge." Trump: "We're just opening up [the hotel], on Pennsylvania Avenue, right next to the White House. So if I don't get there one way, I will get to Pennsylvania Avenue another."

Liberals are more likely to major in fields like sociology and philosophy that leave them with few career paths outside of academia, whereas conservatives are more likely to choose "practical" majors that lead directly to the workforce. You probably wouldn't go into academia if money is something that motivates you, which is what I would assume the general conservative ideal is. Therefore academia leans to the left. I haven't been to university but this seems more logical than "Academia is a leftist indoctrination ritual"

It would be really boring if everybody agreed but at the same time if you're willing to state your opinion I think you should be willing to argue in favour of it.

The Economic (Left–Right) axis measures one's opinion of how the economy should be run: "left" is defined as the desire for the economy to be run by a cooperative collective agency (which can mean the state, but can also mean a network of communes), while "right" is defined as the desire for the economy to be left to the devices of competing individuals and organizations. The other axis (Authoritarian–Libertarian) measures one's political opinions in a social sense, regarding the amount of personal freedom that one would allow: "libertarianism" is defined as the belief that personal freedom should be maximised, while "authoritarianism" is defined as the belief that authority and tradition should be obeyed. In the US the terms left and right are often used for both the main parties but this is incredibly misleading since both of them would actually not be that far apart in the upper right quadrant.

lol, that's great. Turn their own deformed right wing logic against them "Yeah, terrorism is bad but what about American on American crime? I don't see you protesting that."

wew So we're the doormat of the third world because we let people walk over an imaginary line to escape violence and seek a better life... but in the exact same sentence (!) you say we fund terrorists and force regime changes in the third world. Do you see the problem with using that specific term when you illustrate that the balance of power is overwhelmingly tilted in the opposite direction?

I figure with the election so close it's going to get brought up eventually in the chat thread so here's a containment thread. I made two separate polls since it seems like most people are going to vote for the lesser of two evils and will hold their nose as they vote for someone they don't like. Here's a somewhat flawed quiz to figure out which candidate you side with on the issues. And here's another flawed quiz to find out vaguely where you sit on the political spectrum.
