  1. How do you guys feel about the various Lego franchises out there? Which titles stand out to you among the rest? I've played Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Lego Batman, and both Lego Harry Potter games and have enjoyed them all thoroughly. I love all the collectibles and free play modes, and it's cool being able to customize your own character in most titles too. I played most of these games solo, but Lego Stars I played with a friend which was a lot more fun. Great co-op games, especially because you can play with anyone since the difficulty is pretty low and the controls are really simple.
  2. I've only seen Alien and Aliens before this. I was actually really hyped when trailers for Prometheus came out, but then for one reason or another never got around to seeing it. Covenant makes me wanna go back and watch it now though.
  3. Did anyone check out Alien: Covenant yet? If so, what'd you think and how would you say it stacks up against other Alien films? I went with a friend on Friday and thought it was pretty good, considering I know next to nothing about the franchise. Michael Fassbender is really the star of the movie, so if you're a fan of his definitely check this movie out.
  4. I can agree that the environments weren't very pretty and they did get a little old for me as well. I think Splosion Man is a good game, but the lack of a memorable soundtrack and varied level design are what hold it back from being a great game.
  5. I bought Splosion Man yesterday because it was on sale on Xbox Live Arcade and I just beat it a few hours ago. I thought it was actually pretty fun, definitely worth the $2.50 I spent on it at least. I'm thinking about trying it through on Hardcore cause I hate myself and also I'm a dirty achievement whore. Anyway, have any of you played Splosion Man? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Also, has anyone played Ms Splosion Man? Is it basically the same game? Also is it worth buying?
  6. I think Prime is actually well worth the price. Free two-day shipping is such a blessing, especially if you need something in a hurry. There have been some instances where I've had orders arrive in 36 hours. I think a really cool benefit of having Prime is the free Twitch subscription you get. I guess it's a moot point if you don't ever watch streams on Twitch, but I think it's cool that I get to support someone's stream all included in the price I pay for Prime itself.
  7. Sad to see one of my favorite vocalists go. I'll always have some very fond memories wreaking some havoc in GTA San Andreas listening to Rusty Cage on Radio X.
  8. I didn't have a specific game in mind, but I appreciate you and some others giving out more of the general ones. I am just more or less curious about some of the stipulations other people have come up with. And if its a game I like, or it sounds cool enough, then I'd give it a try.
  9. I'm a really big fan of going back and playing games with added, self-set stipulations. I think most people are familiar with some of the more common and popular ones, such as Zelda 3-Heart or buster only Mega Man runs. In the last couple of weeks I've been trying to think of new stipulations or challenges to play and was hoping to get some suggestions from all of you. It doesn't have to be the whole game either, it could be a specific section of a game, a boss fight, or really any challenge you can think of.
  10. Seriously awesome job with this, they all look professional and I could see them actually being mavericks.
  11. Obviously I've always know that Banjo Kazooie had a great soundtrack, but I've been addicted to the final boss theme for like a week and a half now. It's so so so good. Also, for my metal heads out there.
  12. Recently I had an idea to try a Mario Sports Decathlon with some friends and, surprisingly, they seemed like they were down for it. I'd like to get a capture card so I can either stream or record it, but that's mostly irrelevant, as it won't really change much of the actual event. What I'm really trying to iron out now are the scoring details and what games are going to be used. I was hoping to get some feedback on what games you think best fit the Decathlon. We're trying to use sport-specific titles, rather than games like Mario & Sonic at the ____ Olympic Games or Mario Sports Mix which are a collection. Despite all this, we make an exception for the final round as we've unanimously decided among ourselves that it must end with a 35 to 50 round game of Mario Party 2, which isn't even a sports title. The other rule is no handhelds. While I actually think Mario Kart 7 is the best Mario Kart, none of us own the handhelds anymore, and we feel like most of the time the console version is better. We're gonna try to do 10 games in total, so essentially we need nine games. Here's the five others that I'm thinking will be in it: - Mario Superstar Baseball - Super Mario Strikers - Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour - Mario Tennis - Mario Kart: Double Dash (All-Cup) That makes six. Need four more, suggestions?
  13. Excited to see them vs The Young Bucks. Wouldn't be surprised if they made their way back to WWE. And as a Giants fan, I of course want the Cowyboys to lose, but if they win I hope they win out. I just want to Giants to become the cock-block team when it comes to perfect seasons lol.
  14. This would be incredible. The possibility of an updated Melee port that will play seamlessly on HDTVs is like a dream come true. On top of Sunshine, Kirby Air Ride, and TTYD. Definitely much more interested in the Switch now.
  15. Well I really love statistics, so that's where it gets me if I'm being honest. Plus it gives you a reason to care about the other players and teams, or at least it did for me. But I'm sure for some people it really is just the fantasy of being able to assemble your own super team and be in complete control of your roster.
