  1. Awesome review, Eliwood! I've seen a lot of back and forth on this game, but I believe your review has sold me, or in the very least, I'll grab it for myself during Christmas seeing as I'm shoulder-deep in Switch backlog as it is! Just gotta add this to it now...haha!
  2. Hey guys! So, a while back, I had sold off my Nintendo Switch for financial reasons. However (have no fear), my wife has a Switch as well and of course, we have just been playing on that. She usually keeps it docked like a home console, and sometimes takes it on the go if we are on a roadtrip or leaving for an extended amount of time. Otherwise, it's primarily TV mode. When I HAD a Switch, I would usually put it into handheld mode and play next to her as she played on TV (or we'd both be handheld) So my whole thing is, I WANT to get another Switch for myself eventually because I'd love to play games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing together, but obviously I also don't want to break the bank. The Turquoise Switch Lite is looking me dead in the eyes. At its attractive $199 price point, I almost feel like this is the route I should take, especially for it just being a *for me* type device. My only concern is - can I leave my account on her Switch as well as have my account on the Switch Lite? That way if we WANTED to play a game I owned on my account, we could just play it on the TV Switch and I could swap back to my Switch Lite and continue playing handheld only? At first I thought the Switch Lite was kind of silly, but honestly, the more I look at it...I think I kind of dig what it offers for the price. Opinions? I just need some help deciding bahah
  3. This news hit me like a bomb, man. Reggie pretty much embodies the golden days of G4/GameSpot/IGN interviews and E3's that I remember so very fondly. He's been the guy who smoothly convinced me to buy into their products for like, half my life. It's tough news to stomach - but I have no doubt Doug Bowser will be awesome for the job! He's got some big shoes to fill; but I believe in his abilities.
  4. My Switch is still performing like the champ it was day one! No overheating, glitches, cracks or anything. I'll take this a step further and say that I have never once had an issue with my JoyCons. Even during the initial launch when there were all these oodles of problems - I have never once encountered them with my JoyCons. So...yeah! For me the Switch has been the sturdy and reliable Nintendo product I expected it to be!
  5. I hope you all are having a good day!

  6. So I think I'm almost about halfway done with Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I'm nearing the end of Chapter 4,and from what I understand, there is a total of 10 chapters. I don't do the side quests and I have it set to Easy as I just really want to enjoy the characters and story. About how much longer do you think I have left? I hear chapters get much shorter as you progress in the game. I'd ideally like to beat this game in time for the Expansion!
  7. Thank you for bringing this up! Yes, it's so very true. People will take two or three crappy people's quotes and use that to be like "HAH! Look at Nintendo fans!" Like...guys, come on. Hardly anyone is being poopy. And if someone is - they need to grow up and understand devastating natural disasters are not just a flip of a coin to recover. Those people gotta be patient and be respectful! Thankfully most Ninty fans seem more than understanding and realize the gravity of the situation.
  8. Hi guys! I haven't been on here for some time, but due to some recent crap on Twitter of trolls spoiling Xenoblade 2 for me while I was posting some Switch captures of it, I decided to come back to where I know where gamers understand me. Missed you guys! T_T
  9. $20 ain't nothing (like two trips to Subway) but hopefully Nintendo gives us the full rundown of exactly everything soon. I have a feeling the Direct will have a portion dedicated to detailing it all.
  10. I've been listening to a LOT of Dream Theater lately. I haven't really gotten this much into a band in quite a while; it's super nice! Here is one of my favorite songs from them:
  11. Surprisingly enough, I still haven't beat Sonic Mania! I love it to pieces, I have just had a wild year in terms of what all came out video game wise. I hope to get back to it soon!
  12. It's weird - this news didn't really affect me or weird me out because I always thought the "plumber career" was a thing of the past.
  13. Sweet. Thanks for posting this, man. I'm getting the game here in an hour and a half and can't wait!
  14. From a retail standpoint, this is very smart on Nintendo. Being an employee at an electronic store, I can't tell you how many times I hear "He doesn't want the 3D, but he wants it to flip and close." All. The. Time.
