  3. *SPOILER warning* (though I imagine people have watched it by now, or should expect spoilers in this thread) Just finished season 4, good lord the action scenes were incredible. Carmilla vs Isaac was intense but also basically all of episode 9 was stunning. Kind of disappointed that Striga only used her day-walker armor that one time, and just to massacre some peasants. I'm weirdly glad that she and Morana survived but I would've liked to see her fight one of the other main characters with that armor on. Also surprised that just about everyone gets a happy ending, but at the same time I'm glad they're all alive and get to be together and just rest after basically non-stop harrowing shit for four seasons (whatever equivalent that was for in-story time). I'm fine with Lenore's ending, I think it's totally appropriate that she literally is standing in the light of dawn and figuratively saying to Hector that this world (i.e. this new dawn) just doesn't have a place for her anymore. I do think her overall story in season 4 felt a bit rushed and bland though. Her season 3 story made her seem much more clever and conniving and, even given the lack of things for her to do in Carmilla's plan, it felt like her whole character was just kind of there this season. In fact, all of the plotlines probably could have used at least a few more episodes to fully explore their stories, but Lenore's was the only one that I think truly felt off because of it. Overall though, loved the season. Don't have any ideas where they could go for another series/spin-off, especially since it'd be a little sad to see Dracula turn into the villain again, suggesting that he has once again lost Lisa and/or hates humanity.
