  1. I feel like we go through this rumor every month and wishful thinking gets people to read too much into things. Lack of gaming news? Probably just COVID disrupting Nintendo. New Pokemon game actually looks good? That's GF outsourcing development; at the very least, there's no way Pokemon Arceus is Switch Pro-exclusive--TPC prefers money to graphical fidelity. Nintendo apparently makes DLSS contract with Nvidia per Bloomberg? Okay, maybe there's something to that, but I feel like we've had this song and dance before. Even if there is a Switch Pro, it'll probably be about as exciting as a 3DS-->N3DS upgrade. Games will have higher resolution and may perform better, but it'll still be a Switch and you still buy games for it when you care about portability over fidelity (or just want a Nintendo game). Idk, people talk about Switch Pro as if it'll be basically be a PS5/current year Xbox that let's Nintendo "catch up" when it's just a device that makes Smash look prettier.

  3. I made a PVC bow on Saturday. It's only a light draw (20 lb) but it IS functional!

  5. my guess is a half-step, more powerful, same media, kind of like how you can buy XB1 game and it has XB1X compatibility to run faster/smoother

  6. That feel when Switch Pro is trending again because people can't cope with how bad the framerate of the open world Pokemon is and are saying it was made with better hardware in mind. Really am sick of the Pro talk/rumors regardless. Whether I would invest in one depends on the games it would enhance, the price, etc, but even then I expect it to be a minuscule enhancement that I would go as well without like other Nintendo hardware revisions (the DS and 3DS re-releases). And yeah, regardless of how much more powerful a Pro or whatever they would call it is, I don't see them screwing over vanilla Switch owners far as games that were already promised for the system. That's never been their style.
