I did way better tonight than I was expecting, given how rusty I am at Mirror Mode. ...And way to go out with a bag! I was 1st the entire final race. A lot of chaos tonight, but still a lot of fun! GGs!

The GBA is now a legal adult.

Getting my FF fix w/ IX right now so FFVII will probably be bought at a sale, some interesting games to put on the wishlist though from this week.

One of my first games on the Gameboy Advance was Pokémon Sapphire. It was the first Pokémon game I sunk hours into and probably solidified my love of not only Hoenn, but Pokemon in general. I remember using a water only team and having to level up Marshtomp to like level 30 before the third gym because, not unlike me, he was allergic to plants and I could not beat my rival's Grovyle without take down. Sacred Stones was the first Fire Emblem game I sunk my teeth into, but that was like years into the GBA's lifespan. Idk, bringing up gba is 18yo made me want to talk about the gba.

Yup! Thanks. ^_^ This is the sweepstakes I won. I didn't go to any of the events to enter. I just entered with my Nintendo account via the My Nintendo site. I was super surprised when I found out I had won, as I never win anything. When I got the email with the subject "Congratulations!..." I immediately thought it was spam, until I saw it was from NOA. I had almost forgotten I even entered, because all I did was just click a link on My Nintendo and I was entered. Here's everything that was included in the prize pack... I already had a Switch, Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so I gave those to my little bro. for Xmas. Kinda cool that I actually won the LABO Variety Kit, because I've been wanting it to mainly built that piano. Though, I wasn't going to pay $70 for it.

I imagine the Joy-Cons not having their own headphone jacks was a major reason to abandon it on the pro controller, but still, what a waste. I don't even care about using it for voice chat, sometimes it's just more convenient to use headphones *cough* playing games way too late at night *cough

Streaming to game on my internet currently is just not going to be an enjoyable experience with the lack of stability on my end. I think this may be a good investment for those with much better connections and I do think this could be the future of gaming. Personally though, I'm going to live in the past with regards to gaming. Owning games physically has always felt right and most of the games I really enjoy released at least over a decade ago. I think in a generation or two, my gaming will be exclusive to the older generation systems.

Welcome to the 2019 C-Stick Cup Selection Show! In the next 20 minutes or so, we'll see the draw for the round of 64 and beyond in the 2019 C-stick Cup Tournament...the NBL's version of March Madness! We'll start in the East Regional, and then continue on through the North, South, and lastly West. East Regional - these games will be played Friday/Sunday at Chai National Stadium, Sarasaland and Toadstool Stadium, Mushroom Kingdom 1 Sarasaland 16 Orsterra 8 Alrest 9 Onett 5 Popstar 12 Forest Haven 4 Celadon 13 Dragonball 6 Tokyo 11 Tethealla 3 Moleville 14 Castlevania 7 Hauoli 10 Mayahem 2 Mushroom Kingdom 15 Weyard The obvious storyline here, a possible regional final between Sarasaland and Mushroom Kingdom. 2 former NBL champion teams currently in the Championship League, Mayahem and Tethealla, could be lurking for a Cinderella run though. And with Moleville in the mix too...that could create some juicy intra-franchise mayhem. North Regional - These matches will be played on Friday/Sunday at Genis Species Park, Smashville and Great Fox Field, Corneria North 1 Corneria 16 Mimiga City 8 Guangzhou 9 Goldenrod 5 Valley of Koopas 12 Wuhu Island 4 Termina 13 Shield 6 Skyworld 11 Subcon 3 Hyrule 14 Orange Star 7 Mekanos 10 Valla 2 Smashville 15 Sauria A pretty balanced region here with 2 LoZ teams drawing the 3 and 4 seeds. If you're looking for a dark horse, maybe Shield? They're the top ranked team out of the Reserve League so far as a 13. South Regional - These matchups will be played Saturday/Sunday at Calamity Park, Great Plateau and Kong's Banana Stadium, Kongo Jungle 1 Great Plateau 16 Castelia 8 Tortuga 9 Rogueport 5 Bionis 12 Lanayru 4 Los Angeles 13 Delfino 6 Ylisse 11 Hocotate 3 Yoster Isle 14 Khurain 7 Venom 10 Agrabah 2 Kongo Jungle 15 Big Blue Not really sure how to describe this regional...lots of balance in terms of franchises and who might be able to punch their way to the final four. If you're looking for a dark horse, maybe former NBL champion Hocotate fits the bill. West Regional - These matches will be played Saturday/Sunday at Triforce Field, Hyrule Castle Town and Splatoon Stadium, Inkopolis 1 Twilight Realm 16 Goldwood 8 Neo Arcadia 9 Laurasia 5 Nimbasa 12 Tatooine 4 Sonic 13 Labrynna 6 Megaman 11 Bern 3 Mute City 14 Saffron 7 Zebes 10 Epoch 2 Inkopolis 15 Ultratech Lots of strength near the top of this region. Former NBL champion Bern could look to make a run as an 11 or newcomer Tatooine out of the reserve league could shock everybody as a 12. Lots to see here. Good luck to all your teams. The C-stick champion, the 2 league champions of the 2019 Apertura, and the next best team in the standings not already qualified, will also qualify...as will the winner of the 2019 Minor League World Series

I don't think this platform is made to be like the Switch even tho device which this functions are portable, strange. That's what we have Switch even tho for online play portable it is ridiculous. Outside of that portable play on the switch local multiplayer or single is where it is at. I don't see why any would want to play these games on the go, despite the portable reach of this platform. Streaming and on the go is not a thing that is feasible currently.
