  2. I get that fairly frequently, actually. My my favourite though is when it asks me if I am safe as the weather is supposed to be severe in my area.

  7. A lot has been made in recent days of driver interference coming from villains late in MKRA races. This has been something that has been happening with increasing frequency it seems. Earlier this season we had events where King Dedede stopped the Popstar Grand Prix by himself in May and we had both King Bulblin and Ganondorf wreaking havoc on the field at the Hyrule Grand Prix in June. But just within the last 4 races, we had successive incidents. First Mouser decided to toss bombs into the road in Subcon, resulting in Jody Summer's kart being blown up and Donkey Kong and Bowser crashing while trying to swerve to avoid bombs tossed in their path. This resulted in an impromptu battle between the ape and turtle and Mouser and his villain buddies Clawgrip and Tryclyde. Second, we had a zany race at the Corneria Grand Prix that resulted in crossing planets through wormholes before eventually making its way to Venom in the late going. On the penultimate lap, Andross saw to it to smack three racers, Waddle Dee, Rosalina, and Miles Edgeworth with a magnetic EMP that fried their power units and forced them to retire just minutes before the finish. And then came last Tuesday night's event, where in the Star Continent GP, Bowyer started firing arrows in the Forest Maze/Rose Town section of the track, connecting with Daisy and then Luigi and freezing them, causing them to crash. It should be said that immediately following Tuesday's race, people immediately started looking toward Timber Island's resident villain, Wizpig, to see what kind of punishment he would inflict on the field on Saturday night. But as Wizpig said in the pre-race coverage on NSN, "They (the authorities) have been parked all over my asteroid for the last three friggin nights." I can't even go to the fuel station or the market without the police probing up my ass. This is ridiculous. There's already been one event in my world this year and the worms got to have their fun without my ugly mug. I don't deserve this." So why did the MKRA and local authorities come down so hard on Wizpig in the days leading up to the Future Fun Land Grand Prix? It could be that the MKRA and local authorities have finally figured out the solution to keeping the villains out. Or perhaps, there could be more to it. Princess Midna, somebody who has had no relationship with the MKRA whatsoever, offered an outrageous take on Saturday night on social media. Midna said, "This is all an inside job. Since the MKRA had to do away with items in Grands Prix to make their league into a full Nintendo Universe-recognized sporting league, they lost a prominent feature within their culture, which is randomness and unpredictability. Some people within the MKRA are telling the various baddies out there to get out there and do things during the race as a means of entertainment and to keep teams on their toes and produce drama. It's brilliant really." So if that's really true, why then the big crackdown against Wizpig this week? And perhaps more notably, why was Bowyer's interference deemed so bad that Punchinello and Croco dragged him to Pit Lane to get beat up by Daisy and Luigi on national television? Midna covered that too. "Nobody cares if Olimar or Edgeworth or Waddle Dee gets taken out by a bomb or a lightning blast or something like that, except maybe their sponsors. You just slip them some cash to repair the kart plus some compensatory cash and you're good to go. The difference is this time, Bowyer did something that nobody wants to admit...he went after the cash cows at the top. He took aim at teams Amazon and Delta, the lifeblood of the league. He bit off more than he could chew. Taking out team Roscomos or Uber or whomever, the MKRA is just going to shrug and say business as usual...but take out the leader and one of the other top players who co-founded the original league 25 years ago? Oh yeah...that's going to bring the whole Mario Mafia down on you." With the next event taking place a week from tonight at Mushroom Kingdom's Royal Raceway...a circuit that runs adjacent to Princess Peach's Castle, it's highly unlikely we will see any shenanigans take place. Maybe the Kremlings could try something at DK Summit the next week, but if Midna's testimony is anywhere near the truth, Bowyer might have ruined the party for any baddies out there looking to make a name for themselves at the MKRA's expense.

  8. Still holding up pretty well Could use more online multiplayer games (and more games in general) and a subscription to the online service, though... My wishlist on the Backloggery is getting quite large, really should slowly work on that.... Hopefully some stores will have sales/discounts on games/Eshop cards on either Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Christmas... that may help in the long run

  9. Thanks! Yeah clothing designs can get pretty ridiculous in games like this. I can understand wanting to have some fun with it and make a unique or elaborate outfit but a basic amount of practicality would be nice—no one would be running around fighting monsters in the outfits Dana wears.

  10. https://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Thin-Case-Nintendo-Switch-Blue/dp/B072KHS2Q5?th=1 I've had this for a while and it's worked great. I also got a sturdy screen protector when the system first launched. My system has been doing good.

  12. Finally drew Zenobia. Now to max out her affinity chart so I can do New Game +, get the Torna blades, and then never have to deal with this shitty gacha mechanic again.
