  1. Depends on the charging situation. My phone prompts warnings to disconnect. My tablet shuts off the battery charging once it hits 100%--won't even put up the lightning bolt to say the cord is connected. The Switch, from what I can tell, does the same thing. Although, I think Nintendo should have allowed for a off off in docked mode like they do in portable mode--granted you have to hold down the power switch to make the off off show up to turn it off.

  3. If I worked for TRU at the time of the initial closure and I heard about this, I would be ticked and angry and rightfully so.

  4. At first with this Kavanaugh thing I was still in this naive mindset of "wow I can't believe they can't even find a scotus nominee who doesn't have assault allegations over him. This is pathetic." Now of course I realize, it's not that they couldn't find a non-rapist. They chose him because he's a rapist. That's why they like him. the GOP is pro-rape. Why has it taken so long for that to sink in for me, and why are some of them still not saying it out loud? Who do they think they're fooling at this point? Trump's certainly not playing games, he's been clear about it from the beginning. He loves rape, he loves being a rapist, he loves fellow rapists, and he doesn't care who knows it. And he's not on the fringe, he's the head of the fucking party. When are they going to stop using the "innocent until proven guilty" defense in situations where it's not applicable? It's the most disingenuous horseshit I've ever seen. I assume they know allegations are not automatically a criminal case, and that this rapist was not actually on trial. He was being considered for a job. The only "punishment" that was ever on the table was NOT getting the job. Or the entitlement complex is so strong that this Ivy league Wasp not getting to have the highest job in his field and get to exercise his will over a powerless nation constitutes a punishment. Usually in this situation it's supposed to be more like "guilty until proven innocent," but fuck that, because in America, the standards become LOWER the more power your prospective job wields. Once you've paid your dues by being rich and privileged, background checks go out the window. You can hurt whomever you want and it does not matter. You already made it. You cannot be stopped.

  5. I remember when I was ten and I wanted to get the Girl version of Friends of Mineral Town because I liked the idea of marrying Clint. You'd think ten year old me would have taken a hint but nope. I want to get into Harvest Moon again, but I have trouble making time for life simulators. Animal Crossing will suck me in though, because it's animal crossing.

  6. I'd really like to see a Switch spec bump, even if it's only a couple of years after the original release. The Switch released with Maxwell GPUs after Pascal GPUs became available, and NVIDIA has since released Turing. Pascal in particular was a huge improvement that significantly improved power efficiency and performance, and Turing only iterated further on that. We could see a pretty healthy performance gain on a new Switch within the same power envelope. Potentially really exciting stuff, in my opinion!

  8. And you don't have any scratches on your screen either? I'd say and probably anyone will say they take care of their Switch but I didn't want take any chances and bought screen protector from the getgo. I don't know when the scratches on the protector came one but I have to estimate, this past. I say that because I wasn't paying attention to the screen but I recall this past summer in brief glances that scratches were there. It is only just recently like the end of summer or so I do see them for sure. I know the above means nothing in either aspect of taking care of a screen versus a screen protector but I have went through many smartphones thru upgrades and only my S8+ had a crack in the screen earlier this year. This is the first and only time since owning a smartphone this has happened. I'll chalk up the crack to edge screen being more susceptible to when dropped from minor distances. I have smartphones phone dropped and must of been lucky that I get no scratch or crack and I rarely buy screen protectors, I buy cases but very rarely a screen protector. I know how to take of device I carry with me with decent screen restate.

  9. I was gonna make a thread like this because after watching IGN review update of the Switch a few weeks back they mentioned this: I have the vid start up where they mentioned the issue. I don't know if it is mere coincidence or it was there for a while but my left Joy-Con does that too. I must mention I have two sets of Joy-cons (my grey launch ones and the neon blue ones I bought last year for Christmas. Bought my Switch last year on Black Friday. bought the neon blue joy-cons at the Switch anniversary, the left one at first had the left analog stick going wonky, exchange it for another from Amazon Canada and the new ones work fine ) The left joy-con that is doing that is my launch one, I tried the neon blue (both of them and they are fine) so this is not a problem with system but the joy-con itself. On closer examination of both left joy-com they look the same so I don't know what would cause this especially if this is less than a year this happened. Just based on when I got the blue neon joy-cons, I wonder if it is based on time when this will happen? Because with that they grey joy-cons are used more but I'd say I use both equally since this past spring. What could cause this? Oh, I forgot to mention the dock does scratch my Switch screen but I have screen protector. I can see on the protector where the scratches would land. So not cracks, or expanding. Tho I think everybody can say their joy-cons get oily. That is something of concern but not really to me with these other anomalies. @alienboyva: Congrats on the sweepstakes. I'm the opposite I may not win most sweepstakes but I get lucky now and then. I'm just lucky individual, I guess. @purple_beard: Your left Joy-con comes off too huh?, It's your launch ones, isn't?
